ZJO Threadkillers!
Betsy - happy birthday! So sorry to hear about Dakkar, it's tough to say good bye.
Robin - glad you made it back safely. I'm a scardy-cat with lightening. I'm even worse in Hurricanes - and I live in Florida......
Ophie & Tarzan....:sittin in a tree: :k-i-s-s-i-n-g: Sorry, I couldn't help myself! Ophie, we ARE glad that your happy and you, too T-man! Nice you're sticking with us

's. Be careful - we've got the catching kind!
Kim - I'm with you. Birds are beautiful, but when they start a-flapin' I just don't know what to do. I'm bigger than them, but I still start screaming like a 2nd grade girl!
TW - LOVED the recaps...as usual! You may have the hair

but YOU are a keeper!
It was a gloomy day at work today. The Boss's FIL passed away this weekend, so three people were directly affected, the boss, his DW and his DSIL. Also, we were building a pool for a really NICE couple. We were chatting one day and it turns out that HE worked for Tom back in California - imagine what a small world! Anyway, I monitor their construction process and speak to them almost daily. Well, they came in the office on Saturday to talk and found out that he had a massive heart attack Saturday afternoon and died. Very young, mid-forties at the most. It struck all of us at the office hard.
The good news is we are getting a new receptionist tomorrow. However, we're not getting a replacement for me, so I can move up. We didn't find one qualified and with all the brou-ha-haa going on right now, they decided to hold off on the office re-organization. That's okay, I'd hold off, too, with all the upheaval in the boss's life right now. Maybe one day. In the mean time, I've got a cool job with a great company....could be worse!
My sister got her letter for the Disney trip. She's really excited about it. I am, too. We hope to get together and plan Disney soon - just too crazy herer right now!
I went to the movies tonight - Bad News Bears. They did a very fair good job re-making the original. It's vulgar, rude and a total crack-up! If I ever ran across kids like that - I'd be out of soap. However, on film....funny!
