Have I shown you my girl scout troop from our trip in 1999...can anyone guess where each of these was taken?


Brittany's in the bucket hat, if you look in front of Britt in the first photo, the skinny one in front of her feet and the one sticking out her tonge are her bestest friends...they're both coming to NC with us in two weeks. They's been together since they were all three years old. All their older brothers were in sports and school together.

John and I are the same age, I was 25...

I'm actually 3 weeks older than him. My bday is Sept 16th and his is Oct 6.

I was playing VMK most of the night but it closes at 1am

I haven't posted much more to that host sight, I found a new one that doesn't require my shrinking of all my photos first...Photobucket...but so far the only pics I've put there are Brittany's concert/autograph session photos.

that's an interesting tidbit...

The first photo is right behind the Contemporary and the second photo was taken on Discovery Island. Our troop got a special tour after it officially closed to the public before they moved the animals off the island.

They had gators and gargantuan turtles (I remember them cause the girls saw them "doin the nasty" ) and they had a skunk named flower and a snake that the girls petted. They also had a toucan(?) Like Zazu (sp?) ... I videotaped the whole thing, one of these days I'll edit the tapes from that trip and put them on a DVD...

Yep VMK closes.. Surprising, huh? I'm kind of glad it does close because if it didn't I would be on it all night.

Ohh no wonder i didn't recognize where those pictures were. I've only been inside the Contemporary and never been to Discovery Island.

LOL @ gators and gargantuan turtles That's neat that they got a special tour.

I'm glad we took them, for some of them it was their only trip ever to WDW.

We fundraised for two years and were able to pay all the expenses for every girl in the troop, hotel, tickets and airfare. Every child was required to come with one adult and every person other than the girl got our rates but had to pay for themselves.

41 people went on that trip. We stayed at the ASMovies the first year it opened. I kinda wish I took more pictures and less video...hindsight is 20/20...

I'm headed to bed, you should be too my friend, I bet those boys get up awful early
