ophie, glad to hear Mom is getting a little better every day. I know some injuries/surgeries just take longer for people to bounce back from.

BP, as always, you were in hysterical mode tonight! I LOVED the call to Santa! Thanks for the Kim-Kim-a KNEE song, too.

Geesh, what did I get? More than I need. Boss gave me a Target gift card, very generous GC. Brother & nephew gave me a tiered candle and a Cubs book - my nephew the Sox fan - it was his idea! Matt gave me a snowman Cubs ornament - very Cute!!! Kelly gave me some Halloween decorations/candle-related items. Both made homemade cards , since our printer is dead. Hmmmm, gift cards = new printer??? Dinner was ok, ate too much! Company was the best!

I have a headache tho now. Not related to today or anything, as I've had a migraine or bad headache every day since last Friday. I think it's sinus related, but it's really wearing me down.

Oh, and I got the van fixed today for $425, and it seems to be 95% fixed. Not a great deal eh? < duly noted Also put down a $100 deposit for the Chicago Meet next month. My credit card is probably.......well, it's probably not doing anything.......I use it all the time anyway!

Thanks for giving me so many smiles today. Yes, I was lurking, but work was soooo busy, I couldn't post!

I'm up sooner than I wanted to be but someone let a cat in when they left this morning That means that I had to get up to let a cat OUT So now I'm up.

Guess I will get ready and go to work for a bit and clear up my desk.

A fairly nice day predicted for here today but rain for the weekend and maybe into next week. I'll have to try and get out and enjoy some of today

.and if your really nice to me and put in a GOOD word about me to the "Bearded Wonder",....I just might send a few doz.your way......BUT I wont even consider making them with raisins(BUGS)...YUCK ....IF your REALLY REALLY, nice to me I mught even make them with what I hear are your favorite.....Oatmeal with walnuts! AND peanutbutter cookies with a lil peanutbuttercup in the middle of each one! .....

Hi ya ....lady!....Sounds like you had a nice visit from you ES....$2000. is alot of money but I think it will be worth the experence for your DD....Cant say everyone gets to do something like that....It will be a highlight of her life Im sure!...let me know when your pictures are in ...Ill go take a look!

The teachers had all the Austrians wear a white blouse for their singing and dancing exhibition. The other kids are in my daughter's school, they did a breakdancing show for everyone.

Hi All

I am pooped (can I say pooped? ) tonight. Long day at work!! Had the surgical patients today and they kept me hopping. And with only a 30min lunch break in a 12 1/2 hour + day.....My dogs is barkin....that sounds better then pooped!!

Gotta work again tomorrow then I'm off for a couple of days. I really can't complain, since I only work 2 days a week.....

Glad everyone is excited about SS. Me Too ! Did Cally reply and I missed it, our should I assume she is a no?

Well I need to go spend sometime with DH . He is so wonderful, he was off today, so he cooked dinner, cleaned the kitchen, did some laundry and laid some sod in the yard!!! I'll bet his dogs is barkin too!! I caught me a good one!!
