I have had a very poor nutrition day today

I'm tired tonight.

I haven't been sleeping all that well lately. I seem to either go to sleep easy and wake up after a few hours and not be able to go back to sleep. OR I can't get to sleep in the first place

I have had a very poor nutrition day today

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day

I have been troubled by the first one befor,...Ill fall asleep real easy..in my chair...around 10 or so as my DH watches something really boring (like news or the wings channel)...and I can get right back to sleep when I go to bed....but Ill wake up very early morning(2-3is) and Ill be wide awake staring at the ceiling.... drives me nuts.....I really like my sleep you know!

Sounds yummy Betsy. I only went there once, and while I enjoyed my steak, the rest of my family ordered non-steak, so what's the point? Anyone here have Lone Star Restaurants by them? I don't know how 'national' they are. I'm thinking of going on Thurs with the kids, but only went there once also, and that was for lunch many years ago. They're closer to us than Red Lobster, which would be my first restaurant choice. Bringing home take-out broasted chicken would be MY first choice! I also have a card for a free meal at a local family restaurant, but I don't know. Decisions, decisions! All I know is, I'm not cooking nuttin' on Thurs!

No we dont have Lone stars here ...We dont even have a chillis....I have always wanted to try Chillis...We do have a Red Lobster but they are ALWAYS crowded....Another one Id like to try some day is a Boston market...We dont have any of those near by either....We get the commersals for them and Chillis though

Come to the Chicago DIS Meet next month, spend the weekend, and you can eat at ALL of those places PLUS Gino's for pizza!

besides the fact that I would never talk my DH into not working on the house and taking a road trip.....Could you imagine what eating at all thoses resturants in one weekend would do to any weight loss goals.....

Could you imagine what eating at all thoses resturants in one weekend would do to any weight loss goals.....

It's only ONE weekend! .........Seriously tho, NO LIE, I would never, ever, say that to anyone, and mean it! While I was losing weight, I just hated when my MOTHER, of all people, would say "it's just ONE day". Yeah, ONE day that blows an entire weeks work.

For example: If a smoker is trying to quit, would you prod them to smoke ONE cigarette because it's "just one"? Of course not. Off my soapbox.

Gosh ophie, I know the feeling all too well. {{HUGS}}

My Mom had brain anuerysm surgery 4 years ago, and it was hard. I spent a week with her while my Dad worked, and had my then-almost 4yo DD with us as well. Long days I'll tell ya, but you're there 24/7 - I went home at about 4 everyday. More {{HUGS}} to you and Mom. Glad she liked the cards - took a while tho!

Kim Kiminy-I saw another Chicago meet is on the horizon, have a GREAT time!

J & Me rarely go out to eat, he's too good a cook. There is a local diner we like called Mastori's but that's about it. (I favor Cracker Barrel as well)

Alex just called to say he was leaving Ottawa, on his way home from his weekend away. He'll probably make it home about 10 - 11 tonight.

It's just me and Liz at home tonight. The guys from the shop have all gone to Toronto to a big tool show . They will stop for dinner along the way home. So I'm here "manning" the shop to answer the phone and stuff. (and to play on the internet)

ophie, I hope your outing went okay today. I put something in the mail today for your mom. It will probably take at least a week or more to get there.

I bet your'e excited! I have two more months before I board the Magic for my first time...I'm doing the double digit dance.

Excursions booked, except for one-I'm sending my daughter and her best friend on a private excursion on St M, can't book that til Nov 1st

My last act before packing will be to purchase onboard credits, enough to cover our excursions so the only thing left to pay for that week will be our shopping and un-free beverages. We sail on Christmas Eve and I'm helping Santa find us while on board
