It has been very windy here today.

I did spend several hours outside today, doing yardwork. It was windy but in the sun the temperature was tolerable.

It's nice to get outside

Enjoy it while you can...I hear it going to start getting really cold in the next few weeks...
I got all the veggies I had left in the garden...and pulled up my tomato & eggplant plants...and transfered some flowers in to my new garden...they will look nice there........ until the first heavy frost anyway....

What can I do with green tomatoes????besides frying them of course....I have half my kitchen table full of green tomatoes...

Okay just a briefing on the trip...
Lowest temp a chilly 45 degrees
Lowest gas prices $2.49 in NC
The mountains were beautiful with the leaves begininning to change colors, saw awesome sunrises and sunsets
DS is doing well in VA.
DFil is doing well in Atlanta.
Trip was enjoyable and uneventful. DH and I enjoyed being together on one bike made communicating much easier.

I think that if you wrap the tomatoes in newspaper they will ripen I think I heard/read that somewhere. Anybody else know for sure.

Robin, In Morocco in the store to the right within the plaza. They sell the head piece and hip scarf.

I grabbed two that matched and Ophie and me convinced Rose to put them on

26 years ago tomorrow, it was an absolutely gorgeous day

It was sunny and warm the entire day. It was still warm out when we left the reception after midnight. It was a tad windy but otherwise beautiful. Our wedding pictures are so nice with the leaves on the ground.

Yup a perfect day to celebrate.
