Hello all! I'm just passing some time until DS gets home with my van, and then I'm going out to dinner with my cousin, but I just realized I have a raging headache , and I'm getting nauseous. I think I'll go lay down and pass the time.

Rick and I went out to dinner at a place called Axle Annie's. It's in the Wheels Inn, Kim, you know, where you are going to stay when you come to visit me in Canada

We had never been there before. I enjoyed my meal, I had sirloin steak, fresh vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms (which I gave to Rick, since I think mushrooms are gross )

What did you have to eat Kim?

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted....work's been incredibly busy (10 hour days) and since I wake up to get ready at 5:30, I'm tired at night!

Tom and I are turning off the TV and spending the evening reading to each other - so I just wanted to catch up and post quickly.

I did get a vmail from tinknutt that they were having a nice time - but she beat me to the post! Ophie, good luck with mom. Kim - you ARE cool and it's nice that you get recognition! Robin - I woulda ate the mushrooms! DalPal - LOVE the mickey!

Well, I'm off to turn the TV off!

I asked Alex to send me an email when he arrived in Ottawa (where his girlfriend is). I haven't received that yet either no phone call either

Either he hasn't arrived or he forgot to let his mom know More likely to be the second choice Oh well, he's a big boy, I guess he can take care of himself.

Nope, mushrooms are definitely on my do not eat list

Alex made it to his destination last night, he just forgot to email Mom for a few hours and tell her. I figured he was there anyway and wasn't too worried about him.

She made it to her mom's with no drama this time. She is hanging out taking care of her mom. Lots of things to do around the house. She sounded pretty tired. She asked me to come out here and say hello.

I gathered addresses with the intention of doing personalized postcards - it didn't happen.

But I did write each night - and I took 175 pics.

A trip report will follow...and maybe a little surprise will follow still...
