Well we got a break in the weather yesterday...it only rained on and off...and in between the sun actually came out...But I didnt get much done ...because we went into town and didnt get back until around four...but it was nice to SEE the sun anyway!

I left my laptop home

I tried to get on the DIS from a local library but the connection ... well, you know

I'm in on the secret santa
P&PD for all our recovering friends and family
I'll upload my pictures tomorrow and start my trip report.

Ophie and I conned Rose into a belly dancer's outfit - I can't wait to share that one.

We had a lady take our picture in Norway (in turn we did one for her) it turned out very nice.

Ophie is an impressive lady. Rose and I had a really good time at Epcot that day. We finished up the night with fireworks at MK.

Soarin is Awesome!

I'm glad we did as we were told. Rose and me got to Epcot about 10:30 and went straight for our fastpasses for soarin. The standby was 90 minutes and our FP time was 4:30 pm.

We hoped the line was short enough that Ophie could have joined us for our adventure over cali but standby was still at 40 or 50 minutes.

I'm sorry I missed MMD! I had hoped to set up a meet with her ... maybe next time.

Welcome back TW! I'd say between Stitch and Mickey - it's Mickey for tinknutt! I'm not sure she's even seen Lilo & Stitch!

I've been busy - we had company this weekend. Wednesday, I'm hosting Bunco and we're having MORE company for the week! Should be fun - but BUSY!

I've got to scoot. I'll be scarce this week between work and company. Tomorrow I'm going to shop for my Bunco goodies, Tuesday, I'll be cooking for it and Wednesday I'll be incognito -playing with my grandson all week!

Hi everyone. I'm sorry I worried you. My Mom's computer wouldn't connect the other night and I've stayed fairly busy helping out.

She's doing fairly well. Her right foot's still really sore and swollen so she can't walk right and that makes her pretty immobile, so she needs a lot of help moving around. She also can't bear weight on her left arm at all and can only bear weight on her right forearm.

The back brace is hilarious looking. It's a Ninja Turtle Shell, Barbie B00bies, Mattel Mammaries... We're deciding on Halloween costumes... either green paint for the ninja turtle, wraps for a mummy, or maybe some orange shorts and a tank top for a hooters girl since they all have plastic chests as well.

So, I haven't seen any of your cards yet, but I bet they start arriving tomorrow. If there was anyone who wanted to send one that I missed, just PM me. Take care all! (Continued safe travels TN! )

I had to actually scrape the car windows this morning

It's chilly in the house too, about 64º . I guess I'm going to have to turn the heat on soon

Cold here too...no frost...but Im going to start a fire...just to take the chill out of the air in the house...

Busy day today....I have running around in town to do today....then be back home to meet Pan at 3PM and back into town by 5PM for her lession...THEN take her home(she lives near me)and be at my home by 6ish to meet my DH to go Back into town to meet B&SIL for dinner at 7PM ...THATS driving (45 mins.) to town and back 3 times in one day... .... The oil companys are going to love me today!

Anyway I hope You all have a good Monday and Ill try to post again befor the end of the day.

well we started out thread killers....but you CANT kill this thread....

We keep posting to see if we will, but after a few years, we kind of figured out that its NOT going to happen......So we just come on now to chat and entertain each other...

You are welcome to stay and chat with us....and if your lucky and you hang around long enough you may even get a story or two to read....Or a song and dance ....You WILL also find that this thread has the nicest group of dissers on the boards....

AND there is always room for one more!

The only thing is ...I was so full after eating a few of the mushrooms and my salad that I ended up taking most of it all home!....
Oh well...I really enjoyed what I did eat!..

I haven't been sleeping all that well lately. I seem to either go to sleep easy and wake up after a few hours and not be able to go back to sleep. OR I can't get to sleep in the first place

I have had a very poor nutrition day today

Sounds yummy Betsy. I only went there once, and while I enjoyed my steak, the rest of my family ordered non-steak, so what's the point? Anyone here have Lone Star Restaurants by them? I don't know how 'national' they are. I'm thinking of going on Thurs with the kids, but only went there once also, and that was for lunch many years ago. They're closer to us than Red Lobster, which would be my first restaurant choice. Bringing home take-out broasted chicken would be MY first choice! I also have a card for a free meal at a local family restaurant, but I don't know. Decisions, decisions! All I know is, I'm not cooking nuttin' on Thurs!
