I wondered wether you would like that movie.....I really dont like that guy who made it....and I really agree with Kim.....Its just not right....

I had all the kids over for breakfast yesterday...AND my DSIL and DB too!...
It was nice to have them visit....

THEN DH, and the girls and I went Bluebarry picking We got about 20 lbs!......I freeze them and use them all year long in pancakes for our Sunday breakfasts....among other things ....I have been known to bake a pie or two....and then there are muffins(YUM)...and coffee cake ....I wish we had a better strawberry season..It was so short I missed it....but I heard it was not a good year for them at all....OH well, we will just have to be happy with our bluebarries(y?)

Hey that's a cool way to do your dusting Betsy.

Get some work done and some exercise at the same time. Put some perky music on and the work will be done in no time at all.

I have some running around to do today. Liz is going to spend most of the day with her grandparents. She's not really keen on it but she's doing it anyways. Unfortunately her grandmother still thinks she's 8 and not 18 She's stuck in a time warp somewhere.

Grandma wants Liz to do crafts with her and Liz really is not into crafts anymore. Liz suggested they do something different but my mother-in-law is one who always has a plan on how things SHOULD go and refuses to deviate from that plan.

This grandma also thinks that we have raised our children to be immoral, irresponsible ... insert whatever nasty comment you want... people. We took them to Disney too many times according to her. And since they went to Disney so many times, nothing else would be good enough for them "Children need guidance, not fancy vacations"

Oh well, at least Liz will get some "Grandma soup". Grandma makes wonderful homemade soup that Liz just loves

Tomorrow I am taking Liz and 3 friends to Toronto to Paramount Canada's Wonderland, a big amusement park. I am basically going as the chauffeur They will go off by themselves and I will go my way. I don't know for sure yet what I'm going to do but I'm sure that I can fill the hours somehow. We will all get together for lunch though at some point.

Anyways enough from me, gotta run.........

Hello everyone!!

Okay you guys asked for it...I did not really like Farenhiet 9/11 . I was actually hurt by some of the stuff they showed and comments they made. I believe in our President 100% and support the decisions he makes. Although some of the scenes they showed from Iraq were kind of disturbing. Innocent people (esp children) be killed. It's all very sad. But that movie did not change my point of view about how I feel towards the President.

Anyhoo, anyone seen any good movies lately?? We watched Til dusk to Dawn lastnight. Anyone seen it? Has George Clooney in it. I think Roger was drooling over Selma Hayak though.

Hi all!

Another hot, sultry day here in Southwestern Ontario.

The air quality is really bad today, smog warnings are out.

It is very hard to believe but next week Alex will be coming home. He is done working on Aug 18. He says most of the kids and staff will leave on buses by 10 am. They will have to finish cleaning up their "M.A.S.H." unit (yup, that's what they call their medical center at the camp ) He hopes to be on the road to home by around 2pm and will have a 7 + hour drive to get here.

This is my 50th post lets see if I get some wings, I'll settle for ears . Hope everyone had a good Monday. Mine just flew by.....went to gym, did my weight watchers, got my DS a cell phone (he was resistent) thinks now we'll be keeping track of him plus he has to pay his part of the bill. It stinks becoming an adult... .
Then dinner with my DH now we are off to bed since he has to get up early, and even though I'm not sleepy yet, I like spooning .
