Ann, you don't have to give out sugar for Halloween.
You can give out something else.
Last year along with the sugar I gave out those glow bracelets. The kids really loved those. You can usually get them cheap and I lit them up and put them on their arms for them.
You can also give out pencils or stickers or any other small non-food treats. I tend to do that more than candy.
One year I had a stack of books that I got cheap and handed those out to the littler ones. I also have handed out McDonald's Happy Meal toys.
Use your imagination, you'd be amazed at what you can find.
Just kidding. I understand, but I will be giving out the goods just plan to have on my super willpower suit!
