This site has some places for line dancing if that is more your style.

I'd like to do that but I don't know if it is available here other than at the senior citizens recreation center :rotfl:

http://www.worlddancenewsletter.com/Georgia.html

Just scroll down to the bottom and there are lots of places for your city.

I clicked on this link but it was just a page.. no policies and no where to go from there. I need to call them though and see what they have.

Oh disregard this note.. I see the other page to this link :teeth:

You could also ask them when you call, if there are any other dance studios etc in the area that might better meet YOUR needs, if what they offer is not suitable.

I was wondering also about the YMCA, if they would have anything.

Do you do anything out with your boys where you meet up with other parents or neighbours??

You could ask them if they know of anything local.

Or watch your local newspaper for fall class sign up times. Most studios will probably be doing that in the next month or so and usually they will take out ads in the paper to let people know about registrations.

now this would be interesting...

It says W.R. area but it is actually in Kathleen which is far from me.

Maybe you need to find a place that teaches adult tap dance classes then.

Tap and clogging are kind of/sort of similar, in a way :rotfl2:

I was looking at this site a little more. Their policies are kind of strick. Have to have prior dance classes and experience. I'm not trying to become a professional. :rotfl:

I agree you need to find a more "casual" style of dance studio.

Here is your chance to become less shy.

It gives you a reason to start a conversation with someone.

Maybe you will make some new friends. :goodvibes

Roger just called me. He is on his way home so I am going to pack up the lap top and put it in the car. :goodvibes Thank you for finding those links for me Robin. I will look at them some more later.

I'll be back in about 3-4 hrs. :wave2: :moped:

Roger's cousin is cooking right now..

Hi everyone!

I'll catch up, but I've got some WAY cool Disney scoop!.....

DH and I went this weekend to visit DD, DSIL & DGS for a few days. As a surprise - the kids took Tom and I to the Hoop-de-doo Review for dinner on Saturday night! How cool was THAT?!

Wait....it gets better!..........

My sister's birthday is in August. Guess what she got for her birthday from her DH? Three days, three 3-day park passes, three sisters, at WDW's Grand Floridian....meals included! We leave in September!

Holy Cow! It's been a DISNEY weekend for me!
