You guys probably won't believe this... but as we were sitting on the beach watching the moon rise... we saw a shooting star. It's a month and a half later and I still feel like I'm dreaming. How is that possible?

Well we are having a visit from Katrina.. ...I figure she should be gone by noon....but who knows

Hey,.....How are your gas prices???...Just wondering ,They say its suppose to go way up ...because of the refineries being damaged...
I saw $2.69 a gal., but that was last night..so it might be even higher... ..

I did laundry yesterday!...Doing the towels and such today...ahhh the excitement ...Its so hard to stay grounded ...I might even get to fold them all and put them away

AND!....IM not sure but..... I think..... ...I have some dirty dishes to do ....Oh!...the fun of it all!

Betsy, I'm SOOOOO glad that you are having such a fabulous day

As of yesterday our gas prices had not gone up and had actually gone done a bit. I'm not sure what they are today.

Liz has gone to the college for orientation for first year students. Alex is sleeping still. Rick is upstairs vegging in front of the tv recovering from his long days trip to New Hampshire yesterday.

I don't know for sure what I'm going to do today BUT I DO know that I'm going to eat

I'll check in later to see what's happening.

Welcome back Ophie... Nice pictures...

Well... they're okay. I got really frustrated with that darn sea spray. It was just beautiful though. And when we saw the shooting star we just kind of looked at each other and said... "yeah... that figures!"

So what all did you and TZM do?????

All?? I think Betsy's right on that one. But... other than the evening beach picnic, we did some window shopping, we made dinner (we're good cooks!), we watched Disney movies, we went nightswimming (love that song), we did some planning, we took me to the doctor when I got sick, we put up hurricane shutters, we snapped some pics of the waves kicking up on the intracoastal (they're on TZM's camera), we took video of each other trying to walk out onto the pier in the wind. So yeah... Now we're excited for this weekend.

It's from a meet and great she went to during a concert. As I lay DYing is the band, Jeff is the guy's name-he's the singer. Britt says he's "way cool!"

Watchin shooting stars is my hubby's favorite pasttime at the beach

It's the only place we go to dark enough to see them...we sit out on the decks at night and literally watch the stars go by.

~One night we were treated to a AF jet fly by~

He came down along the shoreline made a slow u-turn and Hit It!

It was awesome...it was so loud we were waiting for the sonic boom and almost got one! He shut it down before the boom hit us.
