Boy I have been watching the news and its unbelieveable about New Orleans...and the whole gulf coast... ...I wish I could be there to help..all thoses poor people without homes , everything just gone....I dont want to even think about how many lives have been lost....

Hello! Sorry I was gone so long. I'll try to make up for it with pictures. TZM has a nice view... even with a hurricane. Oh... and don't even get me started on the evening beach picnic.

So strawberry ice cream, hmm? And blueberry muffins? Nice. I need to be thinking of good low-sugar or sugar-free snacks to take to WDW this weekend. Suggestions?

Jesus... Larry King just said that there's a report that prisoners in New Orleans are rioting trying to escape and that they're holding hostages. A Baton Rouge tv station is reporting that but it hasn't been confirmed.

Colleen, I will still have to taxi Liz around some because even though they are both going to the same school their schedules do not always match exactly.

Also Liz does not have her own car and I'm not about to give up mine on a full time basis.

My sister (and KimRaye - Hi kim ) are on Weight Watchers.

For me.....NUTS! The Low-carber's potato chip! I like the Atkins cereal bars, sugar free chocolates and if you have a cooler - cheese!

My sister snacks on popcorn and she makes these AWESOME muffins....she hasn't shared the recipe yet, though. If she PM's you the recipe and I don't have a copy....

Let's hope it's not true. Desperate people can do some pretty desperate things..... My prayers are with all those folks in the gulf coast.

I know that it is hard to believe but we are starting to feel the effects of Katrina here now.

We are expecting rain for the next day or so, possibly large amounts of rainfall. They aren't sure exactly yet where the rain will be the heaviest but I hope not here because our roof has a leak in it when it rains very hard Actually I think it's the bricks in the chimney that are loose and the water gets in there. I've got to call someone to come and fix that
