Cool!

I'm glad you like it...I barely have time to DIS, so video games usually get put to the bottom of that "I'll get to it..." list :confused3

My turn to run,

Brittany wants me to go pick up her friend for her and take her to my house...during my lunch break, I have yet to take

Sooooo,

I'll BBsoon.

:rose:
~cj~

Hey Ive been  :cool1: on :cloud9: at my 30 day mark.....soon Ill be
The :sunny: has come out YEA! :cheer2:

I need to find a job. But it's summer time. Who will watch the kids?

Betsy~ 16 more days!!!! :bitelip:

I need to get some chores done. I've been playing that VMK game all day. You have to go from land to land to find hidden mickeys and then take pics of them. SO FUN  :rotfl:

OH and DeVaughn just gave me quite a scare. He tied a little string really tight around one of his fingers. He came into the room and goes.. "mama look, my finger is turning black" I nearly fainted. I tried to get the string off but it was tied around too tight. He didn't think nothing of it. So I ran to the kitchen and got a knife and very carefully tried to cut the string. That's when he started to panic and thought i was trying to cut his finger off. But you should of seen his finger. It was completely blue and depleted of blood. :earseek: :earseek:

I got it off luckily and told him never to do that again and that he could of lost all feeling to his finger if i didn't get it off. :sad2:

NO, he could have lost the WHOLE tip off of his finger!!!

Sorry honey, but this is the normal action of children and you CANNOT get a job!!! These boys would rather have their mama handle these issues waaaaaaay better than any babysitter.

;)

I'm being sarcastic Cally...kids dont always use or understand logic,
They think nothing of what they do until they see YOU freak out cause you know what they've gone and done

That part, I was serious...Kids

My 180 lb Son didn't think anything of sitting on the edge of the table...

Until he broke the solid Maple top out from under himself

I really should fix that :scratchin:

Oh no...hope your son is all right. 180lbs I'm sure he was fine, but the table

Yep, he didn't start to panic until he saw the look on my face. Then I just smiled and told him to be really still.. I guess I wasn't doing a good job of hiding the panic cuz he started to cry  I did tell him to be very still so I could get if off or he'd lose his finger... that's when he started to scream.

I guess I should of waited til after the string was off to tell him that. We both learned a lesson.

Cally, I think every kids trys the string around the finger trick at some point or other in their lives :sad2:

With all the silly things we do as children it is a wonder there are any adults running around this earth :earboy2:

Liz went to Walmart to hand in a resume at 2:30 and they told her they had an orientation at 3:00 to stick around and attend. :earseek:

Basically they showed them a small film and had them fill out an application and talked to each one separately.

If they decide they like the looks of you, then you are called back for a second interview, after THAT if they still like you, you are hired :teeth:

Here's hoping she made a good impression on such short notice :earboy2:

:rotfl2: Ayup, Lesson learned for next time...

My son was fine,

by his expression, he was more worried about my reaction!

:rotfl2:

The best part is the fact that I can fix it :smooth:

~I would've been more worried if I couldn't~

again....Lesson Learned! He won't be planting his beehind (or an butt) on my table anymore.

I am positive she did...

P&PD :wizard:

Ayup ::yes::

Mine did the string thing too...
they thing it's neat...
kinda like a new trick

It's up to us to teach them to do their science experiment on something other than themselves.

It would be nice if she found a job so easily.

This time of the year is a good one for finding jobs, since all of the highschool graduates are heading away from home in the fall. ;)

I told her to smile and be friendly, NOT to be her normal self :rotfl2:

She says........ yeah, I suppose I could manage to do that for a little while at least :rotfl:

Well thanks for the "string the finger" heads up :rotfl2:

Hopefully we got that all out of the way. Anything else I should be warned about? :rotfl:

That my friend,

Will be determined by your children ;)

Robin,
You know as well as I do, that kids are sooooo much more pleasant to others than they are to us ;)

so true, so very, very true

It's pretty quiet here at work right now...

Me thinks it be a good time to scoot :teleport:

G'night Threadkillers

sorry i had to serve dinner and clean the kitchen.. fun stuff. :teeth:

I hope Liz is nice long enough to get the job. Nahh, I'm sure she do just fine.

:cheer2: :cheer2:

Okay guys I did it :teeth:

I booked the 3 night Wonder Cruise January 5 - 8, 2006.

We wanted to book the lowest category possible, so we booked Category 12's. It is kind of a gamble and a game.... let's see if we can get upgraded  . If we don't, no big deal. We're just happy to be on the ship. The category of cabin does not really matter to us at all.

Now, the reason, we picked the 3 instead of the 4 night. No category 12's available anymore for the 4 night cruise. I might keep an eye on it and see if any open up. Then we will consider cancelling the 3 night and taking the 4 night instead.

Either way doesn't matter at all.............. cause.........................

I'M GOING TO DISNEY

:earboy2:

Betsy, I will have to put in an order for a new shirt before I leave, if you are willing to make me one. No rush, I'd rather wait until closer to departure time to be sure of the right size :cool1:

Okay, new project......... keep an eye open for codes or special at the POP Century for the first week of January :bounce:

Hi everyone! I've been SO busy I've not had a chance to get on line and say howdy! I'm on page 1096......

My brother is breathing on his own, but still no word as to the cause. Hopefully, we'll find out soon.

Crazy busy at work, fun busy at home. Gotta scoot. It's 10:30 and I'm off to bed to start another busy day!

Miss you! :cool1:

:sad2: I've been missing you too

It's very lonely without you here ::yes::

I was thinking about you earlier tonight :)

Cally, or Ann......... a question for you...............

When you were at Disney did you have to do a finger scan to get into the park?

I was reading on another board that everyone must have a finger scan attached to their tickets in order to get into the parks now.

That means no passing tickets around amongst your group or "sharing" tickets with someone else who has available days on their unexpired tickets.

I just purchased some left over tickets from a guy who works with us to use while we are at Disney in January. I don't like the idea that they will be "attached" to a certain person, since we won't use up all of the days left on them while we are there.

Any input, anybody :confused3

 :cheer2: YAY Robin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm happy for ya!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

:thewave: :thewave: :thewave:

To answer your question... Yes we had to do a finger scan. It was weird though because we had to scan our fingers everyday except for one day. I don't know why that one day we didn't have to scan. It wasn't our last day either, it was our 3rd day. :confused3 The kids did not have to scan only the adults.

Hiya Ann~ :wave2: Glad to hear good news about your bro.
