Good morning Threadkillers.

Page 3131, that's an interesting number.

Have a great day today.

Hi all!

Her wedding looked gorgeous! Thanks for the link Betsy...I could only find a comment spot on her video clips so I posted a note to them there.

Yes Cally, Penny fit perfectly under my tree, my little present. I think she was upset last night cause all our kayrap was in her bed ;)

If your tree is that crunchy it sounds best (safer) that it come down :(

Hi Robin~

How are all my threadkillers recuperating today?

 DU Gotta love coffee!!

Colleen, I was looking at your Disney pics on MySpace. Your DS seems to have a good sense of humor! :thumbsup2 We really need to make a trip to Universal :tiptoe:  Seems to be a lot of neat stuff there...

Our trip in January is going to be spent at Unviersal Studios, well except for the Disney Cruise part :rotfl2:

Gotta go out for another family dinner.

Not really looking forward to it but it's free food.

Be back later.

Hi Robin. I'm lurking on the Dis. Not really doing much today. Just being lazy. The kids are playing the Wii.

Have fun at dinner tonight. Wish I didn't have to cook but I don't want to starve the kids :lmao:

You're going to Universal?!?! I won't tell....

John made dinner again, both Moms and him and me tonight~

leftovers mostly but very good...

I like Universal to a point. I'd had my fill after two days there...I was really ready to hit Disney. What are you gonna do there Robin? Ever been there before?

Cally, the boys would probably like it...

I could give you all some pointers on touring their parks if you want it~

Okay, thanks for keeping my secret Cally;)

Yes we have been to Universal many times in the past. We have only done IOA once.

Actually Rick and I went to Universal last May when we were in Florida.

We decided to do it because of the cheap 7 day deal and also Liz has not been to Universal in a long time.

Also Rick says that he is Disneyed out :faint:

Don't know how that can be but :confused3

We plan on heading to one of the parks as soon as we land on the Friday (around noon). We will spend the afternoon there.

On Saturday we will go to the other park, probably with friends of ours who will be down there earlier. They are also going on the cruise.

Then when we get off the ship on Thursday we are gonna head back and do what ever we have missed or want to do again before our plane leaves around 7pm.

Not Disney but we will have fun anyway.

Any tips you want to share on doing Universal?

I'd be happy to have them.

Counterclockwise!

Most people go right first, you should go left~

What rides have you done (or not done if that list is shorter?)

anything specific you'd like to do there?

I like Universal for the price. and the fact that it breaks up my Disney trips so my family doesn't get overwhelmed. We really do try to hit things we'd never done before. For ex: I never did Hulk and Adrian had never done Soarin~

We always tend to go left when we enter a theme park.

If not left then we head straight to the back eg. Haunted Mansion at MK and then continue counterclockwise.

I've done it all at Universal Studios, quite a few times. I have my favorites but overall I like most of Universal Studios attractions.

I've only done Islands of Adventure once and that was a few years back now. I'm not much for most roller coasters so there are rides there that I won't go on.

Hellllllllllllllllllo Tk'ers!

Anudda busy am here. :laundy: , Drive da sister to work & Mom has drs appointment.

We did the Pizza thing last night for dinner. Me & james went to see Alvin & the Chipmunks. It was cute...But a "wait for video" kind of movie!:upsidedow
Played Disney pictionary last night! Way tooooo many "Home on the Range" & "Ceetah girls" questions!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ham leftovers tonight....any recipies?????:confused3

Morning all,

DU,
I dont know if you and your family likes cabbage, but I make a cabbage stir fry, when I have left over ham or corned beef....

Just dice the ham, and cut up 1/4-1/3(depending how much you like cabbage)cabbage, and cook the egg noodles...
saute cabbage in butter until tender...throw in the ham and cooked egg noodles and stir fry it all together..(I use butter for this too)..with salt and pepper....
So easy and sooo good..:goodvibes ..as long as you LIKE cabbage...:thumbsup2 But not low cal by any means...

Hi!

DU~ so I should wait to see the Chipmunks? I'm glad you told me.

I briefly jumped over to the Universal boards to see if I could find some info on the HRH and RPR but the threads all seemed a bit confusing :confused3

I was just trying to find out if there are any good rates....those rooms are EXPENSIVE!

:confused3

Hey guys!

I'm sitting here watching the Disney parade with the kids. It started at 10am here.

I just got done watching Catherine McPhee perform in front of the castle singing all the princesses songs! I loved it!! I feel like a lil girl whenever I hear those songs....

Wow Brenda the picture frame sounds wonderful.

Good Morning TKer's....have had a crummy cold...so did ltl to nothing yesterday...slept....watched POTC & a couple other movies....
Oh my friend Vanessa who works for the Disney Imagineering was in the DL parada...i have it all tivo'd - so have to go back thru & find her....

did you all know that this parade was filmed back in November?????????:scared1: i want LIVE!!!

John got me a huge Mickey black leather jewelry box !!!

It's so cool~

The kids got me the soundtrack from the last Pirates movie, I actually asked for that. That was the only thing I told my family I would like to have for Christmas~

Breakfast wound up with my four, MIL and Mom. Sis and her fam came over later and stayed for dinner. John made a 22lb turkey today. We had only two extra visitors come by so dinner wound up with 13 in attendance.

What are all of your plans for New Year's this year?

Sounds like a great day Colleen....the boys got me some new Uggs (black) so i'm set on colors (ruby choc & black)...and a black Juicy Couture sweatsuit....
dinner her on Xmas Eve was fabulous & dinner at SIL's Xmas Day JUST as FAB! Liked the french toast bake too...but TOO sweet....no one put anything on top of it....at SIL's - some of her family added syrup...
Staying home again today...letting DH take DS & his friend to San Fran for the BB game....need another day to get rid of more of this cold.....

Robin, the Islands are all about coasters...the list without them is very short~

Spiderman, Jurassic Park, Sinbad show and Poseiden show. If you like cute and are ok with short; The pterodactyl flyers, the train in Seussland and Cat in the hat. If you are ok with water, the two in the cartoon area are awesome.

I prefer the movie side, sooo much more to do over there~

John made Ham and Cabbage from our leftovers and split pea soup with ham and carrots. Yummo!

We are supposed to go to the movies this week...John wants to see Alien vs Predator and I want to see Sweeney Todd.

John is actually waiting for me right now...I need to shower and get off the computer if that's gonna happen huh?

Happy Thursday Threadkillers
