Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 2

My goal for 2008 is to make it thru the year at least at the same level of health and wellbeing as I am right now.

My wish for 2008 is for everyone else that I know to be able to do the same as I hope to do.

It's a big wish and a big goal but I'm really hoping it will be able to be accomplished.

I also wish that the year 2008 will slow down and not rush by like the years have a habit of doing lately.

Very, very quiet around here lately :guilty:

What is everyone up to these days??

Love your pictures Colleen :thumbsup2

Morning :surfweb:

Hmm, :scratchin .... when you have to go and help dig out the snowplowcause it's stuck in the intersection :confused3

Does that mean that you've had more than enough snow:rotfl2:
Sounds like it ;)

We saw the snowplow coming so went out to move the cars off the road so he could clean off our "parking" spaces.

He got stuck and asked to borrow one of our shovels :lmao: Rick and Alex helped him to get clear so that he could pile a couple of feet of snow into the end of our driveway :rolleyes1
So doesn't that make it impossible for people to get out of their driveways? :confused3 No one will be able to go anywhere

Our cars are parked in the neighbour across the streets driveway.... no NOT the nasty neighbour but the guy next door. He's a really nice guy, says we can park in his driveway every time he goes away and really anytime we want as long as he can get his car out.

Wow, now that's a nice neighbor:thumbsup2 He off sets the bad one... That's a good thing :thumbsup2

Got any pictures to share of your extremely busy but happy day:confused3

Of course!! I need to take them off the camera first. I hope to get to them some time today.

So what are our "Threadkillers" goals for next year?:goodvibes

My goal is to find a decent paying job. Save lots of money for the family and for our Disney trips!

:cheer2:

You didn't tell us yours :3dglasses

Love your pictures Colleen :thumbsup2

Thats nothing....We recorded it and went to watch it an hr. after it started...and our SAT. had TDs...and didnt record it...So we missed the whole last show and had to watch the NYC thing without seeing the actual show...UGGGG! ..
AND...I really didnt want who won to win...OR the sec. runner up....I think I disliked those two the most!....YUCK!:sad2:

I was hoping for Erik to win....and befor him I really wanted James...But with every show the one I want to win...doesnt...well except for when Ethan, won...THAT was the only time, the person I wanted to win...did...

Well we didnt get the snow they predicted for us...BUT we DID get alot...and Ice too....But no where near as bad as they predicted.....;)

Yup, Cally, the snowplow does a good job of making sure you have a hard time getting your car out of the driveway:thumbsup2

They come and clear the road and dump most of it into the end of the driveway.

Then you gotta go out and shovel the mess out so you can remove your car;)

Yes, the neighbour next to the nasty one is a very nice guy. He is Portugese born in Portugal but he has lived on this street longer than we have. His English is pretty good but a bit broken sometimes. His wife's is not as good but she tries. They have two sons both born here I think, both grown and moved out.

He usually tells me when he is going to visit one of his sons and practically insists that we park in his driveway while he is gone:goodvibes

I'm thinking some sort of nice thankyou for being such a good neighbour is in order:thumbsup2

Have fun at Walmart DU. I have some shopping that needs to get done this week. I'll have to bring myself to do it.

I have an appointment for an ultrasound tomorrow to see if they can figure out why my liver enzymes are high:confused3

We are having a Christmas barbecue lunch at the shop tomorrow for the guys so I have to get some stuff for that too.

Right now we only have 2 of 4 cars dug out and functional, so we are going to have to shovel more snow before everything and everybody goes back to normal.

DH recorded it so we could wathc the Giants play some terrible football last night!:sad2: I don't know what happened yet, but I'm not a big survivor fan. I do hate seeing results on TV when you tape something tho!

Yup, I'm definitely reading, just no time to post! We got lots of ice too! But they did a good job cleaning it up overnight. Kids had a two hour delay today. WIth all the ice that was on the roads last night, I was definitely expecting a snow day today!

:woohoo: for the good neighbors. We live in the best neighborhood ever! Maybe you guys remember a few months ago when all the adults in our neighborhood went out to dinner together. We had such a good time that we are doing a CHristmas dinner on Saturday night. I think I'll make them all some chocolate bark to let them know how much we appreciate them. I'll make pepperment, raisin and walnut.:thumbsup2

GOtta do more of that work stuff! ya all!

Callie I want you to know that you are in my thoughts each and every day! I see you post really late and really early too. I know that when my DH is away, I have lots of trouble sleeping. He only goes for about a week and not very often, can't imagine how tough this is for you, Roger and the boys! I know it doesn't make it any easier, but just wanted to let you know how much I care!

PD, I'm glad that you have such a great neighbourhood.

Ours is really great too, except for this guy with the garbage can hangup:thumbsup2

We too have get togethers with the neighbours.

It's a nice way to live.

It's gonna take me a month to catch up!

I guess it's a good thing that I am off now thru the holiday til January 16th :woohoo:

Britt and me are headed out shopping soon :woohoo:

my first experience of having Main Street all to ourselves was phenominal!!!

I'll have lots of detail as I write my next photographic trip report...

I intend to copy all the chapters and post them here for easy access for my threadkillers ::yes:: ;)
