Yes I suppose they are.

Although, I am getting a very nice new one sometime, whenever, they decide to bring it to me:rotfl:

This computer chair potato is headed off for some sleep.

At least I hope that I can sleep.

I've got a nice kitty warming up my bed for me already :cat:

Enjoy the rest of your early morning hours on the DISboards:surfweb:

Good Morning all,
BOY can you guys chat......Im still on page 3101, but I just had to pipe in with MY recipe for meatloaf...
My family LOVES my meatloaf... It can be spicy or not....

I use ground turkey...But you can use beef..or pork..
1-1/2 lbs.
1 egg
OK..heres the thing ....I dont measure...

I throw into the ground meat, the egg, and a few handfulls of Goldfish crushed,(you know the chedder crackers)I just crush them in my hand as I throw them in...
Taco seasoning,.( not the whole pkg,...maybe half...)..or you could use chilli seasoning, but I think taco is better for some reason...
some salsa,(hot or not)....a few TBSs I guess...
squish it all together, then split it in half....
Shredded chedder cheese,(1/2 C.?)
put half meat in the pan, then the cheese(not touching sides), then the rest of the meat.(press together)..sprinkle some more salsa, and crushed crackers on top...

Bake 325-350degrees, for 1-1/2 hrs.

Its great, because I make 2, one really Hot and spicy for DH, and DBIL, and myself ..and the other I make reg...for the woosies in the family... LOL

Its always a hit...!;) :thumbsup2

NOW....Back to my catching up....BBL..
:teleport:

Morning all! I've been lurking, but have bgeen crazy busy with work so haven't had a minute to post. So here's a quick post to comment to everything you folks have been chatting about. Looks like I've been missing lots of fun!

Like GPs wife, I am also twice the woman that any of those Victoria's Secret models are... Put two of them together and you've got my size!:rotfl:

I was going to make roast beef last SUnday, but saw DU's post about lasagna and said Yum! So we had lasagna instead.
WHile we're on the food subject...love yogurt, except plain or strawberry. Hate meatloaf so refuse to participate in any taste test. When I was a kid Mom would make it one week and Dad would make it the next, then they would ask us to judge whose was better. I always told them they were both horrible!:scared:

I cannot stand black licorice..except in good and plenty and I absolutely  good and plenty:confused3 That has always confused me. ALong the same lines I don't like melon and I don't like prociutto, but put them together as an appetizer and I love it!

We have Nestle's Crunch Bars in the stores here!:thumbsup2

SO glad to hear that DISMAMA is going to go ahead with the procedure! That must be a huge relief.

Haven't even started my cards yet!:scared1: But I'll get them done and out in time for CHristmas. Of course I gotta figure out what I'm going to make this year! Hey there is plenty of time.

Cally~ I think that elf video is adorable. I couldn't stop laughing. I hope Roger does get to see that!

I think I'm going to switch work schedules with DU! I am working day and night from now until the 21st. I usually have 2 night work meetings a month. This month I have 3 every week! The nights I don't have meetings I have kids activities...concerts, spaghetti dinners, basketball games (but I like doing all of that stuff, at least it is family time!)

Kim~ do you still want to come and work with me...please?

I do intend to take Christmas week off (unless the kids drive me crazy!)

I get a bit of a break next THursday. I am going on a field trip with my daughter to see Cirque de SOleil "WIntuck" at Madison Square Garden!:woohoo: I'm definitely looking forward to that.

My favorite new show this year is "Reaper" on TUesday nights. It cracks me up!

The "SOund of Music" is the first movie I ever saw in the Theater! Still a favorite of mine!

DU~ Do you have a thing for Barbra? You seem to watch alot of her movies:rotfl2: (Did ya ever date her?;) ) I love Steisand movies too!

I am now a chaise potato! GOt one last January when we got new living room furniture. Talk about comfy!:cloud9: I never much cared where I sat before, but now everyone in my family knows that the chaise is Mommy's! Kinda like Archie Bunker's chair!:rotfl:

Our snowstorm Sunday was a bust! We only got a dusting and then some sleet. THe kids had a 2 hour delay on Monday. They were very disappointed. They were planning on having a snow day! We did put up the tree on SUnday and that was nice with the somewhat wintry weather!:)

DU~ Seeing as you do such a good job with Birthday shopping, mark your calendar...my Birthday is January 12th. That only gives you a little over a month to shop, but seeing as you have all that time off, you should be ok!

Brenda, loved your scrapbook pages!

Oh yeah we did go cut down our tree Saturday. It was freezing! I bet it was in the teens with the wind chill factor, because the wind was whipping! But those City tailgaters were there! We left the tree farm about 3:30. There was a group there that had an outdoor fireplace thingy with them. Looked brand new, I figure they stopped at home depot or somewhere on their way up from Manhattan. Well they had so much wood in that thing. I'm sure they had no idea that it was loaded with about 4 hours worth of wood!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I figure they had to be there until at least 7:30 that night for the fire to go out! ANd then you have to wait for it to cool before you load it into the car!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Everybody~ ya!

Chatty again last night I see....::yes:: nice...it gave me lots to read this am.

I hafta head over to the college and get my unemployment papers in...I messaged Kiminy and Rory, if he's gonna be at the world with me I wanna see if I can at least meet them~

I am in the meatloaf haters group...

John simply hates the taste and I ate it too much as a kid~

bbl...

Has anyone checked out the Look-Alikes thread?

I saw you over there DU ;)

There are soooo many pics of dissers and their celebrity look alike... it's a pretty fun thread.

Betsy, I would of never thought to put crushed goldfish in meatloaf. And then cheese in the middle... :thumbsup2

Hmmm, that topped with Bacon... sounds like we got something going on here...
