BUSY, CRAZY DAY HERE TODAY :crazy:

Started to drive James home, got 20 miles...had to turn around....BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD ICE STORM....came outta no where. Drove a whole 40 miles round trip in 3 hours! :scared1:

Of course James is upset about missing school tommorrow. :sad2:

I already hate hate hate winter :mad:

...and it didnt even start yet :headache:

I'm not much of a winter fan either.

You made the right decision to turn around DU.

Better to be safe than sorry.

It's been icy here today too but it's supposed to stop soon, if it hasn't already.

I have not checked outside in the last couple of hours. :confused3

I was just checking up on our vacation details.

I checked the car rental price and it has gone down a lot.

So I cancelled and rebooked and saved $28.00 :woohoo:

hiya....been a busy day....got up at 4am (like usual on the wkends)....downloaded some new virtual paper packs then showered &n dressed...DD & I picked out our tree & had DH & DS pick it up later as she & i were on our way to San Francisco. We had a nice little "brunch" at Union Square Grand Cafe then walked a 1/2 block to the Curran Theatre for the Jersey Boys...VERY VERY GOOD!!! The 49ers were playing at home & Cirque de Soleil was at AT&T Park....SO the traffic coming home was CRAZY!!!! took us awhile to get out of the city....then about an hour later when we were out of the bumper to bumper traffic...i realized the headlights weren't on....only the "running lights" :lmao:

well my car has "auto" lights that just turn on automatically....so didn't even think about it....sure there were a few drivers wondering what the *&%$.

Dada as a Drs appointment he insist thats it 8:00am....(why I didnt double check :confused:

) looking at the card now...its 11:20! Its from a dr he only sees once a year! (they have lotsa of December appointments :rolleyes1

)

Good Morning all, :surfweb:

The carol party happened... :cool1:

and we had alot of fun.....but WE did have the freezing rain...AND...DS (Mike)and family had to stay the night...Sooooo very glad we have the RV...The two older boys(Mike, and Doug) stayed in the house with us...and my DS nad DDIL went down to the RV, with the youngers(David, Billy, Kateri, and Rita)...Worked out quite well actually.....
This morning I gave them all hot cocoa, and cereal, let them watch some cartoons, while mom and dad got themselves together, and off they went....
All that and my Mom hasnt even gotten herself up yet.... :confused3

..She can sleep through a bomb, sometimes I swear.... :rotfl:

I LOVE my olympus...It has a 10X zoom....Its a little on the big side, but you cant beat the pics it takes for what I paid for it....BUT its about four years old , so...Im sure they have better out now... :thumbsup2

I haven't done anything really exciting today.

I went to work for a bit and did some work related stuff.... going to the bank etc.

Dance classes tonight.

we made it up to 79 today, not 82 but warm enough for this time of year

Nothing exciting for me today either Robin.

I started messing around with the camera on my laptop and discovered that I have a movie maker program :confused3

So I started messing with that and ended up making this cute collage of pics of the kids with some background music :thumbsup2

I'm going to email it to Roger...

Now if I can only figure out how to put it on here for you all to see... :confused:
