Two days of babysitting has me beat. I don't think Dante and DeVaughn were this hard. I am babysitting again today from 12 -7

Thank goodness I won't be having any more babys. By the end of the day I am so happy to give her back and just be able to sit and relax.

That's exactly how I feel!

I love kids, adore being around them, just don't want any more of my own. It's too much work. I also love being able to do more with John because our kids are grown. All these side trips he and I take would go away if we had another baby in the house.

Sounds like you all had a great Halloween...

I have some pictures to share but first I have to find a place to upload them to. I used to use Imagestation but since they are not around anymore, must move on to newer pastures.

Yesterday we had a fish die in our fish tank. His name was Algae. He was a very, very large chinese algae eater (the long skinny type not the big ugly ones). He was at least 7 years old (we had him at least that long if not longer). He was a fish with a definite personality and we are gonna miss him. So are the cats They used to wait until he swam out of his big block and try to get him thru the glass of the aquarium

I always said I was gonna get rid of the tank when Algae went. Now, who wants guppies I've probably got a couple hundred of them in that stupid tank

I just got off the phone with one of my classmates. She got a job in her Dr.'s office. Mon - Fri 9-5 weekends off. That's the kind of job I want!!!!

It warmed up pretty good over here. It's in the upper 70's with a light breeze. It's really nice out today.

Robin, I'm sorry you lost Algae. Sounds like he had a long life. 7 years is a long time for a fish.

Yes, 7 years is a long time for a fish to live in an aquarium. I least we think so. I've never had one live that long before, although I think there MIGHT be a fish or two in the pond outback that have lived that long Those are goldfish though. You'd be surprised just how big goldfish can grow to be when they are in a bigger environment.

It's been a bad month or so for us around here.

First Rick's uncle dies, then my mom's cousins husband, then Rick's cousin, then my brother's dog and now the fish.

My mother also found a new home for her pug dog. Since my dad moved into the nursing home my mom has found it too much trouble to have a dog. She doesn't have the time nor patience to put into training one properly. It was also holding her back from doing things she waned to do. Had to be home to let the dog out etc.

Briggs went to his new home the day after Cash died.

Rick told my mother we better be watching out for her because she is getting rid of all the living things in her house First my dad, then Cash and now Briggs Then the fish died and my mom had been at our house the day before

Good thing my mom knows Rick was only kidding........ or was he

I've been taking pictures around the house all night...it's kinda freaking the little puppy out...tomorrow I take my new toy outside!

So far, it's as nice as I expected and weighs a little less~
even fits in my hand really nice~

Good Morning Threadkillers!

I'm sorry it took me SO long to get on the computer and post. All is well here - we are busy - but fine. Sister's trip to Savannah was AMAZING! We had an awesome time and are planning Charleston, SC next year. I'll try to get pics posted sometime. I have to tell you that I bought a TON of kitchen gadgets at Kitchens on the Square. So much that they shipped them home for me....free!

Dad is responding well to his radiation therapy and is going every day until the first week of January (that gets old quick!). I also had a friend diagnosed with cancer this week.

The other big news is DH and I decided to go on a 7-Day Disney Cruise for our 25th anniversery in January 2009. We're very much looking forward to it.

Ya'll take care and I'll try to keep up!

Now I know...and Ill be praying for her and her boy...How sad...Life is really hard sometimes...

Here Trop. fish stores will buy your fish from you...You should call around and ask..if they will buy them from you ....or if you just want to be rid of them...maybe they will just take them off your hands...

Another cruise in 09?....How cool...
We are thinking of a cruise in 09 too.....But it will have to be in the spring...No more winter trips for us ....We are thinking of the Disney 7 day Costa Maya cruise...but we have to wait for the 09 cruises , as it may not be offered again in 09....I hope it is as it is the one we would like to do the most!

I agree with Brenda, Albert does *not* look happy. I may dress up Penny but I do save her the novelty of dressing her in a costume. I told John I stay away from trying to put anything on her head.

He wasnt too happy with the hat at all....and I only put it on him for the pictures....BUT he's a trooper and will let me as long as he gets the treat thats in my hand ...( thats what he's looking at in the pics..)..and then when I say OK...he shakes his head and off it flies...Then he goes after it like its all a game...Like his toys on his head trick... He Loves to play..
He's a cool dog!
