Funny story.....if any of you had been keeping up with the loooooooooooooonnnnnnnngest TR EVER written, you know how cheap Screwy Louie is!

Anyhow I told him that we are coming down this summer to WDW! (dumb i know). So we went back & forth on what to do. Again I let them pick.
Anyhoooooooooooo I am going to their house one day, and again they will follow us back & stay at WDW...BUT NOT GO TO THE PARKS!!!!!



The 'official' reason was........"We are too exhausted from our NYC trip!!!!!"
It takes a MONTH to recover for 12 & 16 year olds????

Now you know why when we were in HS, I was da Brains of the skippin school scenarios!

How did you handle the rest of that conversation???

If you are not doing the parks together what *are* you gonna do that day

I am up to 92% sure we are going in September...

It would be higher if we didn't have NC to pay for next week and now a autographed hockey stick my lovely husband just "accidentally" won in an auction to pay for

Beaches and Cream should be fine for the 29th, at the most it'd only be Rose and Ed (her DH) and John and Me. Unless Ann and Tom come along

I'll pencil that day in as TKer day

The 28th might be our Universal Day, the 29th could be Epcot and B&C/TKer day and then hubby and Ed could make the 30th their "fishing day" and Rose and my relaxation day. Then of course, we'd be going home on the first

I gotta email Rose back and find out how early or late on the 27th she wants to fly down --- there are plenty of good fares offered for our weekend, looks like $119 rt for each of us if I were to buy them today. That's with Airtran and Southwest! Rose doesn't like southwest but I do so she and I will have to tawlk about that as well...

Sorry I never got back on yesterday....I had alot to ...Julia stayed with my mom while I got some things done....So I was in and out all day...doing chores...

I just got done catching up....and
YES!...it was a great meet!..I had alot of fun meeting everyone!....It was really cool to talk to all the people that wrote the books I have been reading for the past few years...and the pod people too! <~~~that makes them sound like martians

Im sooo happy you are going to try to make WDW in Sept......I think you are alittle mixed up tho...BEACHES & CREAM is where Cally and I have a meet plannned( NOT Cape May cafe).......on the evening of the 29th.(I think it was suppose to be around 6ish..But Ill have to check my notes to be sure)..But if there will be even more meeting we may want to pick something bigger then Beaches and Creams..The only reason we picked B&C is because Cally was planning on doing the ESPN and NOT going to a park that day....But maybe CM, or the YSH in the YC..may be a better choice..or someplace on the BW...
Im sure we will be in Epcot all day that day as its the first day of the F&WF...and It will be my only chance to go..I DONT want to miss THAT!...I hear its GREAT!..We will be at WDW from the 22 Sept-1st of Oct......
Going to MNSSHP on the 28th....
Im sure Mike will be happy to get the chance to talk to John again...and meet Rodger too!

Our Hershey Park day was OK...The AC was so loud in our room that it woke us up everytime it came on...sooo we didnt sleep well that night, So we were kind of dragging on Sunday....The one rollercoaster(stormrunner)that we all has exclusive use of the first hr.....was great fun, but I dont think Id do it again....a little tooo fun for me....I must be getting old...pretty scary! It will forever be one of those been there, dont that kind of thing!
Then we just walked around and checked it all out did some of the other things like the seal show..and the skyway, and the kissing tower...( altho I really cant see how its a kissing tower, when your packed in like sardines..)BUT the view from up there(I think your 300 feet up) was really nice ..I have pics of that too...Ill have to get uploading soon.....

Ill post a few pics here ...then give the link, so anyone can go look at them all...I took quite a few

It would be great to have you pop over to WDW while we are there....Please try to keep some of that time in Sept open...We would love to see you again!

and....Happy freshening!..I think you are incredibly orginized in your cleaning....Its a good trait..I am never orginized in anything.....except maybe Disney trip planning....Mike and I use to joke ..that we could have been the "Odd Couple"
He would be Felix, and I would be Oscar....He says Im the kind of person who crashes through life!...LOL..I call him meticulous Mike....he like everything planned out....and in its place...

I just wanted to comment on the Storm Runner. We rode that last year and I totally agree with you on the "been there..done that...don't think i'll do it again" I even have a pic of roger and I on it when we first take off... You should see my face!!!! If I can find it I'll post it!! But that ride is scary!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard that take off is faster then the Rockin Roller Coaster

Anyhoo... I think 6ish was the time we agreed on but it can always be changed according to the times that is best for everyone as well as location

I have never been to the outlets yet and probably won't for a long time to come~there's soooo many other things to do in Orlando, I can shop anytime...actually, I do shop, but only at DTD and Citywalk

Once when I drove down I went to the Beltz outlet...just went to the Disney store there. Got some things....nothing to rave about!

Have you ever been to Sea World?

I have been sneakily getting ideas out of DH for things to do on our trip to the World in December. DS and me already agreed to a backstage tour, KTTK. I told Rose about it at the meet and she plans on doing it with us.

The December trip is in a house off property with DH, DS, me Rose, her SIL, two nephews and niece. We aren't doing everything together. Rose is entertaining her SIL and John, Adrian and Me plan on doing our own thing.

I priced Richard Petty. A ride along is $100 and driving one is $400! I thought it's be a little lower than that. I wanted to send DH but now I think it costs too much to drive one and a ride along would be a let down. We'll see how that goes~

I also know he wants to go to Sea World. I offered Discovery Cove to DS but he kinda bawlked at the idea so I'll save that for when the four of us can go.

Whadda you got planned for this trip?

We've been to Sea World and Discovery Cove...

John and I did DC with Rose and her DH Ed back in 2000, the year it opened~ John hasn't been to SW since then and my kids haven't been for longer than that. We really like it over there, esp since they added a couple rides into the mix. Rose has a Busch Gardens AP that includes all Sea World Parks as well as BG in Tampa and VA, so she's covered. I was just curious if you'd ever been~
