Ann and Kim have inspired me to try and join them in their successful weight loss. I started 4 weeks ago and I have lost 9.6 pounds already (I was really hoping for 10 this morning but hey, tomorrow is another day )

Wow that's great Robin! ... I was planning on starting my diet after DH deploys so I could surprise him when he gets back. Besides I'll probably be too depressed and missing DH when he leaves that I won't be able to eat. Maybe I could start early tho...

- you went to a fancy party and I ( ) was there along with PrincessaC - Hollyann was there too - and I guess the BrerPapa ( ) has returned and we haven't heard about it yet.

So we all headed out and travelled over to England and we received a major surprise because EltonJohn was there

ROBIN! You didn't tell me you've lost 9.6 lbs! Way to Go, girlfriend! Whoo hoo! :jumping4: You've got to get that 10lb clippie in a day or so, huh?!

Cally, I'm a low-carber, no sugar, no simple carbs, no potatoes, bread that sort of thing. Plus I try to walk 3 miles per day 3 times per week. It doesn't always work........DH and I are mall walkers and that is NOT going to happen a week before Christmas! I also have high blood pressure, an irregular heart beat, high cholesterol and I'm surgically menopausal (gotta LOVE those hormones!). I take meds for all of them (2 for the cholesterol!). I'm a regular walking pharmacy! It's funny, because I look healthy as I can be - and for the most part, I am - but I take a zillion pills in the morning!

I never took a before picture, I'll see if I can't dig some older pics up. I usually don't take pics, tho....

You know where I notice the weight loss the most..... silly as it seems is.....when I put my seatbelt on in the car It has a little less distance to go these days

Wow Ann, you must be keeping the drug company in business these days. I also take cholesterol lowering drugs and have been taking them for oh about 9 years now. (yow, has it really been that long already )

My blood pressure is good, even on the lower level of normal.

Wow Robin..you're pretty good.....you may even be up there w/ Brer papa with those stories...

I don't know if I'm ready to start today......I know the hard part is getting started.... but...but...

I got all of my tags at the same time. One day I just noticed that .... there they were..... boy was I smiling on that day
