Aww, that's pretty sweet, but I question this group's democratic values when you also post this:

you'll learn to love them....

:yo-yo: everybody

Of course the night I decide to work on a jigsaw puzzle instead of DISing, everybody comes out to play early

Yup, my headache went away last night, but with the music, and I use the term loosely  , that my daughter is playing right now, I think I might have a relapse :p

Brer_Papa, where do you find all of these places to get such good and free food all of the time!?!?!?!?!

It sounds like you had a good time with your friends.

So, we, of the DISboard thread-killers are now famous in PA are we :smooth: Cool!!!!!!!!!

I think I demand a recount of those votes :teeth:

I spent the day just hanging out at home. Nobody else was around for most of it. I sat out in the back yard and watched the birds feed the baby birds in the birdhouse.

Various cats came to see what I was doing while I was sitting out there with my binoculars. I saw 4 frogs that were sunning themselves by my pond. One of the cats, Mischief, loves to chase the frogs back into the pond

The best part.........I didn't get one mosquito bite today!!!! hooray!!!

Ahoy Cruisin'! :boat:

aaaah....sounds like relaxation was the order for your day...

and with no headache nor nary a mosquito bite...makes it even better.... :)

sitting and watching the beauties of nature has long been a favorite pastime of mine...

down on Presque Isle...close to the Administration Building ...is a pond that has a fallen tree in it...one of the branches sticks up out of the water...

me and some Grandkids have spent many a time watching turtles sun themselves on that branch...

:) :) no cats though...

We MUST be an odd bunch if 11PM is early!

I was pretty much a slug all day, except for the 65 minutes of exercise I managed. I watched Mystic River this afternoon. Creepy-good, imo. Clint Eastwood has some WEIRD thoughts in that mind of his tho. Lots of sadness, and troubled people in the 2 movies I can think of, but lots of awards for both and/or the actors.

Tomorrow I hope to FINALLY be hanging the curtains to cover the 95" wide picture window in my kitchen! :earseek: I have the curtains, but the rod I ordered was shipped separately.  Oy!

oh, their values are OK....it's the person who was leading them astray....oops...

I didn't argue that either....just accepted it is fact when I read it....

Here is a little story:

A few years back there was a big ol bull frog that was living in our pond.

That frog would climb out and sit in the waterfall at times.

Well this frog for some reason did not like birds

It would lie in wait for some unsuspecting bird and then very slowly it would creep up to it and then JUMP at the bird

It was hilarious, and I caught some of it on video.

One day a bird decided to have a little nap on the edge of the waterfall. Well the frog very, very slowly snuck up behind it and launched itself at the bird while it was still asleep. The bird was so shocked it jumped off the waterfall into the grass like something had bit its behind.

 :rotfl: :rotfl:  We laughed and laughed at that.

I wonder what that frog had against birds:scratchin

Maybe he was far-sighted and thought it was a girl frog?

Hilarious Story!...Loved it!!

Good luck with the weigh in Kim. I hope you made your goal :cheer2: :cheer2:

I wish that I could find some will power and determination some where like you have. I could certainly stand to lose a few pounds myself.

I applaud you on your success!!!!

I know it was very strange with that frog, I couldn't believe it when I saw it doing that!

Of Course!

Good luck my friend Kim!

May the :wizard: of all things good bring you what you hope for! :cloud9:

Awww, you're the greatest! Thanks so much!! Even if I don't make it this week, it's nice to know you care. I WILL make it tho, whether this week or next. I await the moment. Thanks again! :grouphug:

Good Morning Night Owls!

Sounds like ya'll had a rip-roaring good time posting last night! BrerPapa, I agree, with Cruisin'....where do you find all these friends who provide food? Deep fried turkeys have been popular in the South for years and years, but would you believe, I've never tried one? My luck, I'll be the one person on Thanksgiving day who gets on the news by setting the house on fire!

Kim, good luck on your weigh in. I've read a lot of your posts on the WISH Board and I know how hard you've been working.

This morning, we got up early. I had to visit the Vampires early and have a blood test for my (routine) doctors appt. coming up this week. Then we went to b'fast, and sat around to let it settle. Then DH and I walked 3.5 miles. After that, we visited a computer store - pondering the posibilities of getting warp speed installed on our computer. Then we signed up to volunteer at our political party's headquarters. I've decided not to say which party, since everyone has their own ideas and this isn't the debate board! Anyway, I'll be working probably one day a week trying to get people out to vote.

Then I changed the sheets on the bed, getting ready to give the dog a bath, finish my book, take my usual nap and that's it!

Wish us luck tomorrow - Hubby has his biopsy. Our plan is that everything goes well and we'll celebrate by pressure washing the fence!

Take care and I'll "chat" with ya'll later!

Hey Hollyann

Sounds like you had a busy day. I slept in until 11 this morning  I blame it all on the thread-killers gang, it is their fault that I stay up so late and sleep in so late in the morning :smooth:

You guys are a very bad influence :p

It sounds like you had a busy day already today Ann.

Try to relax and keep your minds off of what is to come tomorrow. I wish your husband well with his biopsy, but I could find a better way to celebrate than power washing a fence ::yes::

Please let us know how it went.

Kim, I hope your weigh in goes the way you want it to today, good luck!!

Back to work today Brer_Papa???

I have to have a shower and go buy some food. There is nothing left in this house to eat. I should find time to go into the shop and clear up whatever is on my desk too!

Hope everyone has a good day :sunny:

Bummer. :( Over 12 hours, and no one came out to play tonight. :worried:

Hope you're all well! :sunny:
