The Hilton and Sheraton at the convention center are pretty good deals on Priceline and Expedia at the moment.

The hotels have seen the occupancy rates spike for race weekends, especially right around Harbor and Disney Way. The further out you go, the better chance at finding a decent room.

There are so many options in DtD depending on what kind of food you would like/TS vs. QS. Splitsville has a variety of options from sushi to pizza. Seoul Sister has decent bowl options, and GG’s Chicken Shop has fried or grilled chicken. Din Tai Fung is also fun and tasty. There are a ton more choices off property along Harbor and in the Gardenwalk area.

Speak of the devil Dvc just sent out a pasta party invite for the Grand Californian for the night before the half. At $72 per person not sure of the broad appeal

Tbf, I do think connecting the niche worlds of runDisney and DVC is kind of great and worth a bit, if not for the food, then the community and atmosphere.

Though I’m sure if you’re more seasoned in each of the communities it probably holds less appeal since you probably know other members and/or runners and don’t feel as nervous/out of place at these things.

yeah, for a pasta buffet in a hotel ballroom (with characters though....). I'd rather stay in the parks.

If you’re looking for pasta or pizza, the Garden Walk has a CPK. I did take out from there last year and took it back to my room.

I can only speak to races after MW 2018, but this is the first time I'm aware of them holding this for DVC.

available at many California Costco's seen in person yesterday in norcal. but we're not going for 3 days... .

I think it was open until 8pm. Even if it closed earlier, though, you can't pick up someone else's bib.

now that we know everyone's schedule we are on the only flight that works and it only works if the expo is open past 7... so... here's hoping. at least I'm only signed up for the half.
