Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 2

Not our FAULT! Sure, we nominated you, but only because you were the bravest, smartest, willingist (sucker) ummmmm.....threadkiller we had!

I'm willing to chip in two quarters, a flattened alamo penny, three cat-eye marbles, a piece of string, a romance book and an old receipt from Safeway in 1986. Will that help with your supersaver lurkersweeper fare?

Oh, some sugar free jello to appease the lurkersweepers, too.

There.....see - what a good friend I am?

Aaaaah....but HollyAnn!

(You ever notice in NEVER rained on the Ozzie & Harriet show?)

ayway....aaaah....it is not MY sunshiney-ness...it is OUR sunshiney-ness.....

we all have fun....we support one another..and on those dark days....we are as one...

that's the beauty of this thread..it's what sets it apart...it's why it CANNOT be killed....

somehow.i think it even makes our Lurkers hesitant to come out of hiding....

yes...you good people lurking there....reading this every day....you can be part of this sunshiney-ness....well...you are..we acknowledge you..

you're just not as vocal as some of us....but...you are a part of this beauty.....nameless...but a part....

anyway....as long as any one of us is here....that beauty of this being will survive...it's not dependent on any one of us.... nor dependent on all of us...because as Thread-Killers...we are one...

there are no shadows here.....

The 1000 minute exercise Challenge for August, Ann. Didn't you join? You'd surely have met Goal already. :D I'm at 990/1000! :teeth:

Nope, I didn't take the challenge. I usually exercise 4 times a week for 45 minutes - walk 3 miles with hubby. I guess that's one I should have. I'm certainly not going to make the labor day challenge. I've only lost 4 lbs. (that reminds me - I need to update!). I set a goal for 10. That's okay......I'm happy with the weight and hubby says, "hubba, hubba" when I walk by!

Yeah, but BrerPapa, your sunshiney-ness is particularly appealing!

Hey, Brer_Papa, ole buddy, ole pal !!!!!!!!!!!

Me a BRAT!!!! , Hey, I resemble that remark :teeth:

Nice to have you back. You guys have been chatty tonight. It has taken me awhile to read all of those posts. Good to see the talking going on!!

I would very much enjoy seeing and listening to Brad Paisley in person. I do like his songs! I am glad that you got to enjoy him.

Sorry about the car link because it had a picture of the car on it.

Ann, I hope that Tom is feeling better soon. Have a good rest.

Hi Kim. What's happening!! Did you find anybody to go to Disney On Ice with you??

Wendy, hope you are feeling better.

:wave2: Kevin!!!

Brer_Papa, I am still trying to puzzle out this upside down underwear concept  and that poncho thing, I think that might be just a little bit toooo much information :earseek:

Kim, I think the Brer_Papa should have to make up anything you might have lost with the lurker sweeper!!! If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have volunteered you to go out searching!!

Well, Honey Bunny is ready to get rid of his headache and cuddling is the only thing that works......so, I must go! It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it!

Take care ya'll! Enjoy chatting and hugs and pixie dust all around!:D

Edited: Something on TV caught his eye - still here for a little bit!

it is good to be back....even if i am up to 7 or 8 incorrigibles this month.....

Brer_Papa, I am still trying to puzzle out this upside down underwear concept

TRY IT!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

and that poncho thing, I think that might be just a little bit toooo much information :earseek:

sssshhhh...i told you....it's a secret...

hmmmm....maybe if the Lurker-Sweeper gets me....my secret will be out when I'm being beamed up!

OH NO!

Ann - I was WILLING?!?! You must've missed my threads! LOL I'll take the sugar-free Jello, if it's cherry or strawberry-banana tho! ;)

Yes, you could've made the Challenge. It averaged to about 33 minutes a day, and I figured if I took 2 days/week off, I needed to do about 45 minutes a day. So, I'm ahead of the planning right now. :D And the Labor Day Challenge...I think I'm at 7.5/10. It's up in the air whether I make that or not. :confused3 There will be another exercise Challenge in September - Join in!!!

BP are you being 'watched' or something? You're dripping with kindness tonight. ;)

Robin, we have 9 total going to Disney on Ice. My DD & I, my cousin and her 2 DDs, and the jfulcer family of 4. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure there will be some kind of mini-meet involving the consumption of food, sometime that day. :teeth: And, I like your thinking about BP paying my expense............Thankfully, I had 24 hours prior to cancel, and I wasn't leaving until Sat. morning. :teeth: :space: Those are some kind, and fair, lurker-sweeper people. :p

Kinda glossed over the poncho thingie...............sure you don't want to spill on that one BP?

Hey Cruisin'! Glad to see you made it tonight! How ya doin'?

Man, I hate to say this, but since I mostly listen to Christmas music, I've not heard Brad Paisley. I like oldies, cause of karaoke. I know he's a country singer and hubby probably loves him.....but me.....if he isn't Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole or Johnny Matthis, I don't know 'em!

Kim, maybe willing wasn't the best wording - how about conned? The exercise challenges sound great. I have to admit, if it wasn't for hubby, I wouldn't exercise nearly as much - he keeps me going!

BP, I love your kind posts - you keep them up. We missed you and I'm not afraid to say it "BrerPapa Rocks!"

In fact, "Threadkillers Rock"!

Uh oh....have ya'll noticed that Mr.MouseFan isn't here? Did he get :space: ?

that should be enough time.....

AH-HAH!

sitting there thinking "oh...i got away with "<b><u>OLE</u></b> buddy... <b><u>OLE</u></b> pal...tee hee tee hee hee hee" didn;t you Cruisin' ? :boat:

well.....for your information:

OUCH!

again from you?

Ooh, BP, I get to spill the beans on Cruisin'!...........did you know that she's going to have a birthday while she's at WDW?

I for one...have said many times I would like to celebrate mine there....can't think of a btter place to be on that Special Day....

I went to the big summer dance recital that my daughter danced in tonight.

It went quite well really, lots of people, lots of good dancing, such cutie-patootie little ballerina's :teeth: , just so sweet they were!!

Cruisin's having a birthday, cruisin's having a birthday, a birthday, a birthday! :bday:

okay, Mr Smarty Pants with his underwear on upside down. I have thought about that concept and I understand how it works now::yes::

There is actually no way to put your underwear on upside down:eek: . As soon as you pull it up it is right side up again  Maybe not right side out though ;)

BrerPapa, how'd you know that? I think it's a great place to celebrate a birthday, too! In fact, I think I will!

Cruisin, I forgot to ask you about the Dance Recital - I'm SO glad it went well. Little girls dressed as Ballerina's are one of God's better ideas. They are so adorable they make you weep!
