Well then Id be thinking that you will think you have gone to the north pole....Because when I got up this morning here(pa), There was frost on the ground(everything was white) and the temp was 25.7 degrees I live in northeastern Pa. So you might have it alittle warmer,....but anyway get out any and all cold weather clothes to bring with you...

Well WAAAYYYY back in school, one of my male friends used to call me Sarge all of the time

I think it was because I was always the older, "wiser" one of our group and also the one who never got into any kind of trouble.

You can be my Deputy any time Brer_Papa , except you are the older, wiser one now so maybe YOU should be the Sherriff

Oh what mayhem there would be then!!!!!!!

Oh and I have a picture of me and my new husband dancing handcuffed together at our wedding reception. My uncle put them on but he didn't do them up tight enough and I could slip my hand out. He never left us the handcuffs either

Kim, the new fridge is great. I just got done transferring the stuff into it from the garage. It will take awhile for everything to find a new home and for us to get used to it but so far so good.

Good luck on your parent teacher meeting. It sounds like you might have someone on your side finally (except us of course ) I hope you get things sorted out successfully.

My daughter has a half day of school today. She tried to tell me it was a waste of time to go to school for half a day. I told her it was a required school day to get her butt out of bed and get to school. Little brat has already missed too many days due to illness at the start of the school year to skip out of classes for nothing. Also she needs to miss a week when we go on our cruise in January.

It is not really cold this morning here but it is rainy!!!!! It has rained very hard and some of the streets are flooded because leaves are probably blocking the sewer openings and the rain can't drain. Although there are lots of spots in this city that rain covers the road very easily and makes huge puddles that you have to drive very carefully through.

Ann, have a nice walk!! Maybe you better buy yourself some long underwear because I think you might need it

No, sorry, DH is not in the military although I dated my share before I got married. Something about a uniform....
I'm really glad the Steelers won last week too. They are looking really good but they have a big test this weekend with the Eagles. DH is an Eagles fan and I couldn't be less a fan!! Good luck Steelers!!!!

I haven't looked at my team for this week. I'm still celbrating from last week! I never dreamed I could do so well with all the byes I had. I've come to a conclusion...if I feel good about my team then I bomb but if I have lots of doubts then I kick butt! Go figure! Good luck this weekend! Hopefully the football gods will shine down upon us both (as long as you're hoping for the Steelers over the Eagles! )
