Good morning, all!

Another day, another chance to get healthy. :Pinkbounc I did the four-mile WATP yesterday (after getting Cinderella's breakfast for our upcoming WDW trip - I'm so psyched!)

Has anyone else found that working out at home makes it easier to cut the excuses? Yesterday it poured rain all day, and I still got active in my living room! And it's easier to fit into my schedule, too. And I don't have to worry about what I'm wearing. I don't even have to brush my teeth if I don't want to...

Anyway, thank you, all of you, for helping me stick with this new way of life. It's so nice to feel like part of the WISH community - your support and motivation makes my day!!!

So SOUND OFF!!! Tell the world what you're doing to give yourself a better, healthier life, and BE PROUD! You WISHers are the best!

Daisy;)

I came home from work yesterday a.m. sick, (throwing up), and spent all day in bed.

So at 11:30 last night (feeling better), I decided to do my WATP, I only did the 1 mile, but at least it was something and counts on my chart.:p

I am feeling better today, so hopefully I can do the 2 mile tonight and earn my two week exercise clippie!

Happy Tuesday, Daisy!

Glad you got back to your WATP workout! I love that you start this thread off, it is so uplifting and inspirational! :)

Yesterday I did 3 sets of 10 "manly man" push ups, so that brings me to 30 total manly man push ups in one day (not in a row, but hey, that's always something I can work up to!) The first set of 10 wasn't too challenging this time, so I must be getting stronger. And I can tell that my chest muscles are shaping up as a result of adding these types of push ups into my routine. My pecs are filling out (wish the rest of my chest was as well! ;)) and I feel like I am looking more proportioned instead of having a bony chest, if that makes any sense!

Also did my hand weight routine for shoulders and triceps. :) Went for my hour and five minute rollerblading session, power walk was rained out, however. :(

I did...1 1/2 miles on the treadmill and worked my arms with my weights.

Once again i did 2mile WATP and I did a little ab work last night

I did another 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer ... I think I'll start going for 45 minutes next week!

Congrats on getting Cindy's breakfast Daisy! :p

I haven't done any sort of routine yet. I am coming here to be inspired. I plan on doing measurements this week and will get my butt up and moving too--(I hope)

Did a TON of walking last week (WDW trip). That was good for something I figure.

Daisy--I wish I could get your attitude about doing something/anything at home. You are right on about why it is easier to do home routines, I just need to keep hearing it. Thanks for your help!

Yesterday was supposed to be an "off" day for me, but I needed exercise as a diversion. DH made cheesey fries with bacon and ranch dressing for his dinner and I *HAD* to get out of that room while he ate them (they are an absolute favorite of mine). So I went in the bedroom, changed my clothes, did my handweight routine and ran just over a mile on the treadmill. Kept me busy while he ate and cleaned up all of the evidence! ;)

I did, but not too much. I don't feel like I'm doing enough, but I dunno. Compared to some of y'all, I'm just making a token effort I feel. :(

I did about 10 minutes of yoga stretching last night, then just over one mile on the exercise bike. Didn't really feel like doing too much though because of the excessive heat outside. Was out for two hours at lunch instead of one and I couldn't believe how much just walking between the car and shops really took out of me. :(

I really wanted to go to yoga class tonight or at least some time this week, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I wish the class started an hour later. With school about to start, it's next to impossible for me to work during all of lunch so I can make it to the class. :(

But at least I have stuff at home so I can do it on my own at home. And, more importantly, I *am* doing it on my own at home. :) Even if it is just 20 minutes at a time instead of the full 60, at least I'm doing it!
