Who exercised this weekend? Super job!!!

Good morning, everyone!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I'm so proud of myself today - I spent just 15 minutes on the treadmill on Saturday (just so I could say I did something:rolleyes: ) but yesterday, I went kayaking for THREE HOURS! Yes, the shoulders, back and stomach are feeling it today, but wow! What a great feeling!

I loved it! Kayaking was so much fun, it didn't feel like exercise at all! Going to have to try that more often...

I didn't check in yesterday, so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else did on Saturday and Sunday. Still waiting for my WATP tapes, and TigH posted a link to some weight training exercises on Muscle and Fitness Hers. I'd like to add some of that to the routine as well, especially after seeing Karen's (Tigh's) photo on the "Who exercised Friday" thread. Wow!:Pinkbounc

So, keep me inspired! You all who are getting out there every day (or almost every day) are really amazing! When I don't feel like exercising, I just think of you...

So let me know. What was this weekend's activity?

KAYAKING SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH FUN!!! Woo-hoo for you!!! I bet you are a little sore (ha!) That is great though!!!!

Let's see, Saturday we power walked and I worked my chest/triceps and shoulders. Yesterday I worked my back and biceps and we just did some slow walking (around EPCOT!) for about 2 hours ;)
 
Dog gone you Daisy. I was wondering when in the world is this girl gonna stop badgering (me :) ) about if i worked out. (esp since i have'nt in two weeks) Well just everyday last week when i came to sit and read on wish there she was wanting to know if i exercised today what is she thinking? Oh the horror why does she have to know this everyday and i'm just gonna scroll down and forget i saw that! WELL not today my wish monster ;) I did it cause of you:p Nah, Nah, Nah you don't scare me with your post about this exercise mess anymore I did a 2 mile watp tape yesterday and if you ask me again today i just may have to post to this thread again.:) Oh what would i do without my wish friends!
 
Good job Daisy! Awesome! :)

I managed to do 2 mile WATP and 20min. Pilates on Sat and Sun.....I was so happy I managed to exercise both days! :)
 

On Sat I walked on the treadmill for 15 min or was that Fri? Well I know I walked on Sat either 15min or a mile and on Sun I walked around the neighborhood for 30 mins. Also on Sat I worked biceps and triceps.
 
Me! Me!! I did!!! :D

First time I've exercised on the weekend in a long time. I got up early Sunday morning and hopped on my elliptical for 20 minutes. Felt really good too!

I'm glad I got that in since I woke up too late this morning to work out. I hate starting my week out like that. I'm going to try to go for a walk tonight after dinner to make up for it, but my dh is going to go fishing so that means I'll have to drag my 5 year old DD with me, who walks like a snail! Not a great work out there! :rolleyes:
 
I did!!! I did!!! I actually - hold onto your hats - walk/jogged both Saturday and Sunday. Now it was on a treadmill but I was so proud of myself. I was going to walk 5 min and jog for 2 but I felt so good that I ended up jogging for 5 or 7 minutes and then even 10 in a row on Sunday!!! I was very surprised at myself and it actually wasn't as bad as the last time I tried to jog!!! This morning I did 30 min. of straight walking but I'm probably going to go back for more punishment after work!!! You got to take advantage of any burst of energy you can get!!
 
been continuing with my walking the "gerbil track"
tonight (if it doesnt rain) im getting out and mowing the sides & backyard
 
Saturday I did ellipitical for 40 minutes, weights for 30 minutes (overall body) and swam for 20 minutes. At night DH took me to hit golf balls at the driving range, I actually did good!! We then had an awesome dinner...that's why I did so much during the day.

Sunday I swam for 40 minutes (sooooooooooo boring!!) and did abs for 20 minutes with some pushups.

My arms are sore from swimming I guess. Must work some of the smaller muscles I miss when I do my weights. One day I might have sexy arms instead of flabby arms!!
 
Sat - jogged 2.5 miles and did my SHAPE routine (15 mins muscle training)

Sun - I did a scupting yoga workout, which usually I take Sunday off but I have been feeling really fluffy and eating more pts than I should have!
 
Sat I cleaned my house for the company I was expecting on Sun.

Sun I only walked 1 mi, but survived the cook-out & theater full of popcorn with only 1 cracker & i corn chip.

Mon I bowled for 2 hrs with co-workers, & only had 5 bites of pizza crust! :earseek: I'm sure I got a little more crust than that by pulling the cheese off the pizza, but that's behind me now! :sunny: I also spent about 15 min with my dumbbells.

I'm back on track now, looking forward to another loss this week, so NO MORE CHEATING!!! :teeth: Just more EXERCISE!!!!
