My two year old(25 months) cracks me up:teeth: . The things she says and does are just hilarious. She has started potty training this week, and when she gets it right you can just see the pride on her little face. And Mommy's proud too.

We do have our little disagreements once and a while, but overall I think these moments should be cherished.
:)

With my kids, the 2's weren't bad at all. When they turned 3, they learned they had a temper.

I agree, my kids twos really weren't terrible. They really became their own people that year. I do remember DD having a day where I said that she lived through her entire year of terrible twos all in one day.

I think she started by dumping an entire box of cereal out on the kitchen floor and stomping in it cause it sounded neat! Then while I was cleaning that up, she went in the living room and while smelling a bowl of potpourri, she dumped it all out on the floor. I sent her to her room for a time out (room was upstairs). As I'm cleaning the potpourri, I see something flying by the window. When I get up to her room, she's figured out how to get her screen out of her window, and she was throwing all her clothes out the window, while hanging halfway out herself. I gave up and just held on to her and laughed and laughed!

My baby is Two today!!! We taught him to answer "terrible two" when people ask him how old he is. I love this age. They are great from 18 months to 3. Then they get their own ideas!;)

Yep....the 2's are a blast...it's the 3's you've got to watch out for!!!

DD started going through the terrible 3's at 2 1/2!

My DD is 2...ready to turn 3 May 31st! I really cherish this time! My other 2 DDs are 10 & 11...so I know how fast they can grow! With this last one, I enjoy every hysterical moment of it!

I can definitely relate--two was an awesome time for me with both of my children. They both (even the shy, introverted boy) became "Terrible" (but not nearly as bad as some others I've witnessed at any age ;) ) at 3. I've been at home with my kids (now 16/13 m/f) and have to admit, it's all been priceless! :sunny:

ahhhhh..sorry, but another one who had a great time with the 2's (x 2) but when 3 came alone - oh my! We called it - "two - with an attitude!" Yikes! I swear my DD woke up with pms on her 3rd birthday! She's 5 now and a bit of a drama queen, but still very lovable. :) Enjoy your time with your little one!

Well, DD is 2.5 now and I think its about 90% good, 10% terrible 2s. When she has a fit though, look out! Usually it resovles itself after a little bit, but some days are not fun.

However, most of the time, she is sooo adorable. She is so nosy and is into asking questions lately...not the typical Why? but just questions about everything. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Definitely a time to enjoy. Now anyday when her little sister gets here, we'll see if that changes. :D

Never had any issues with my two girls at 2 or even 3.

My oldest (10) is an angel. My youngest (7) is a spitfire! She can make me scream, laugh and cry all at once:rolleyes:

Each year I find is full of new beginnings and experiences. I love every moment.

Our DD is only 20 mo and we say she is already a terrible (but loveable) two. Her favorite words are "NO!" and "Mine!". And she is a head strong little bugger. :)

Oh, yeah. Miss Maddy has a great temper. It seemed like the day she turned 3 she knew that was the day the temper tantrums could start. But come on....who couldn't love that little face?! :)

I think they are called the Terrible Two's because one minute they are yelling the next they are grinning!

I love this age and I do not love this age all at the same time! :)

DD is almost 21 mo. The other day I posted about a "tantrum day". Today we went shopping and she just kept smiling at me.

Gotta love it..........:p

My mother claims I saved my terrible twos for age sixteen. So all you parents who think you've dodged them, watch out! ;)
