Who else was NOT impressed with the planning DVD?

I tought it was ok. I watch it everyday.... yes. Everyday. Im excited to go in Oct.

Being a 15 year old Girl.... I liked the fact they picked a cute guy to be the Thriller. haha

We got ours yesterday, and I popped it in to watch this morning. While the hosts were not that irritating, I thought the whole DVD was just not that well planned. It did not hold the interest of my kids at all. The scene changes were too quick, so it couldn't grab your attention to anything, and as a result, you never got a chance to really "experience" anything and get excited about it. I thought they should have shown more characters in it, and everytime they did, the character popped on and off the screen in a second or two. By the time I excitedly told my girls, "Look! There's Mickey!" and they turned towards the TV, he was gone. And it was not well organized. It jumped from place to place and got one confused (especially for those of us who have not been in a long time!). OK, and maybe the hosts were a bit annoying -- I could have done with less talking and more scenery of WDW.

Have all planning DVDs been like this in style???

Ditto for us. My kids still prefer to watch the planning video we got before our 2003 trip.
