Grand Cal 1-BR Villa Room Request Suggestions.

Hello,

We will be staying in a 1 BR Villa at Grand California from 5/11-5/15. Any suggestions for room requests?

There aren't that many units and you might not get what you request.

x502, x508, x522 are pier-facing rooms so you will hear a lot of noise from the pier especially during parades and WoC. If you are unlucky there might be rehearsals at night after the park closes. If you want a good view of the pier request high floor.

x514 faces the Redwood Challenge Creek and is generally pretty quiet even during the day. You will still hear some WoC noise at night however.

x507 are the only 1BR that face the pools so those will be the quietest rooms you can get.

Just a heads up, Grad Nites take place on the 12th, 13th, and 15th. That is a late night event at California Adventure. It goes until 2am and with the park facing rooms, you are likely to hear loud music/noise coming from the park. So if you're sensitive to that you might want to request the pool side.

Are both parks generally more busy during the day while the Grad Nites take place?

I'm not sure. You may want to ask on the main Disneyland section of the forum. I've never been there during grad nights.
