Who else loved the lobster mac and cheese?

We were on The Magic: Last call for Tortola and absolutely LOVED the lobster mac and cheese. Several of us at the table actually had it two different evenings, in different restaurants, by request. I don't know where my head was, but I failed to ask for the recipe. I did search the boards for it , but have come up empty. Any of you out there have this one? Would be sooo grateful if you will share.

It was outstanding, but it was so rich I couldn't even finish it. I don't know which one I liked better this or the lobster ravioli in Palo. Both were to die for!!!!

Lobster Meat, Gruyère, and Cheddar Cheese Sauce tossed with Tubular Pasta and topped with a Parmesan Wafer.
At least you know which 3 cheeses.

I didn't see the lobster mac and cheese recipe but it lists how to get the recipe. Hope this helps!

We thought so too. DS got it because he likes mac and cheese with pretty much anything. He thought it was bland and when I tasted it I thought the same.

Just had it 2 weeks ago and was not thrilled with it. Even our server suggested it was not great. I love Mac-n-cheese and ordered it anyway. Thank goodness I ordered 2 meals.

Thanks to those of you who had helpful suggestions on tracking down the recipe. Guess it is always best and easiest to go straight to the source. I E-mailed Disney Cruise Line last night and had the recipe before 10AM. It's just like magic!

I can't wait to try it on our Northern European cruise -- Wonder was a week short of changing over to new menu on our last cruise. Will definitely get it as a side dish to share with my partner since it seems to be mixed reviews. I figure we can always ask for more if we end up "love it" camp!

I find it interesting how tastes vary soooo drastically. This is why "the food is great and the food is terrible" threads cause so many disputes. Just curious if any of those that thought it had no taste were taking seasickness meds?

Our whole table thought it was lacking something. It just wasn't great. None of us were taking sea sickness meds.

I am wondering if the varying reviews are because of quality or maybe different because the vendors are different. I still look forward to trying it.

Love lobster.

Love mac & cheese.


But lobster is too expensive to mix with mac & cheese.
And it is best straight with melted butter. I want to taste the lobster on its own, not covered with yummy, gooey cheese.

It wasn't yummy, gooey cheese, so you don't have to worry.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty bad last week on the Wonder. I wouldn't be surprised if the quality varies depending on night/ship/seating, etc.
