I'm hooked!!! What a great show!!

I just started watching it. Last week. I know I missed a lot and haven't seen the previous seasons.

I'm on the edge of my seat!

We've watched 24 since Season 1. It is definitely the best show on network TV, and this season may be the best one so far ::yes::. If you haven't ever watched it, it is definitely worth renting season 1.

I've got season 1 in my netflix queue. I will watch it in the off season.

If you go to the fox website they have really good episode recaps. Good way to catch up if you miss anything.

This is the first season i've watched it and I'm hooked too...

I saw the first episode when i was in Disney in Jan and now I'm hooked too! My roomate isn't a huge fan, but I think its cause she doesn't let herself really get into it.

I occasionally watch it, but DW has never missed an episode in 4 seasons. She thinks this may be the best season yet. And the one tonight must have been a really good episode, because she was practically hyperventilating by the end of it.

My DH and I started watching last year. We missed the first couple of episodes but we were hooked anyway. Last summer I rented seasons one and two and we couldn't wait to watch them every night. The stress from those shows was so great I actually started to have trouble sleeping!! :rotfl: :scared1:

I miss some of the characters that were on the seasons past. Nina Myers, Sherri, Gael and Michelle. There's really no one new this year that I find intriqueing, that's why I was glad to see Tony come back.

Still, IMHO, this is the best show on TV at the current time. And Keifer Sutherland.... SIGH!

:teeth:

The ds have been watching it since season 1 too. Jack Bauer seems to be ds 17 idol at the moment, gee wonder why he is going to a conference in dc next week and picked places like quantico etc. to visit. gheesh. I think I have a Jack in the making.

This season is the best one yet. Last season was kind of a bore to me. But this one made me believe in the show again. :)

I have also watched 24 since the beginning. It is by far my favorite tv show.

I've watched since season 1. This season is definately better than last year. I think it's pretty predictable but every now and then they through something in to mix it up. It's a great show.

Dh just started getting me into it. It's not a show I would normally watch. But when he is sitting there watching it, I get hooked every week. We went to bed early last night so we had to tape it. Can't wait to watch it when we get home tonite! ;)

Thanks to some rec's, from very wise persons... SSB obtained first disc of Season One via Netflix, and then had to go out and buy the whole season DVD's this past weekend! Some really GREAT storytelling! :)

Can someone give me a rundown of last night?
I forgot to turn the VCR off...

Haven't missed an episode in 4 seasons... and have only resorted to having to tape it once or twice. DH and I have been hooked since Hour 1, Season 1. I have to say, though, I have no desire to own it on DVD (well... Keifer 24/7 might be a good reason, now that I think about it), once you know what happened, it just isn't as intriguing.

The mother and son were hold up in a hotel. The son went to a hospital where the mother's brother works as a pharmacist and asked for pain medication. The uncle called the kids father (bad idea) because the kid was acting weird. The father told him to hold the son there because he was a drug user.

In the mean time...
The heavy set guy at CTU is having a fit because his mother is in the fallout zone from the reactor that went China Syndrome. He tries to get people to help him get her out but they have no luck. Mom's an invalid. Insert touching scene between the mother and son as she tells him goodbye.

Jack and Tony go to the hotel and are able to capture Mom terrrorist before she kills herself. They promise her that her son will receive a pardon IF she helps them find the override devise so that the other power plants don't melt down. She agrees after the President signs it. Jack and Tony head to the hospital but in the mean time the Dad shows up, gets the kid and kills the uncle. Nice guy. :earboy2:

So we have Jack and Tony, who have chased Dad terrorist into the basement of the hospital with the kid, waiting him out. Mom terrorist is with them and says that all he needs is the two hours until the rest of the plants melt down and then he'll kill the son. She's not telling them anything without the kid and says she couldn't care less how many innocents get killed. What a witch - insert a B.

Another boring night on 24. :rotfl:
