Who else is taller than their husband?

Just curious. I am. My husband is 5'4, I'm 5'5.

I'm not-only 5'2", and dh is 5'10". But my baby sister is right at 6' (yes, I know, life is not fair) and her dh is around 5'4". Doesn't bother them-she wore heals to the wedding.

My father just turned 70, and he and my sister have been the same height for years. I guess he is shrinking, because in all the pics from his party my sister looks at least 2" taller than him.

I'm 5'5.5", I've never been in a relationship with anyone shorter.

Both my sister and I are taller than our husbands. I'm probably an inch taller than mine and DSis is about 2 to 3 inches taller than hers.

Not me, DH is 6', I am 5'4". I remember as a kid thinking that a husband had to be older than a wife and a husband had to be taller than a wife because all of my parents friends fit this . They met one couple where the husband was younger than the wife and I just couldn't figure out how they got around that "law"

I'm 5'9", my ex (28 yrs) was 5'8". Went out with a guy who was 6'5" - it felt really, really weird.

I'm almost as tall as DH. If I wear heels above about 2inches I'm taller than him. Doesn't bother him or me. He says 'At least I don't have to bend down a long way to kiss you'.

I am currently shorter than my DW, when we first started dating, we were the same height (5'-4 3/4") but arthritis has shortened me by a half inch or so.

I'm 5'1" and I rarely come across anyone shorter than me, male or female but I can't imagine that it would deter me from the right person. Who cares about height if someone makes you happy? Wear those heels sista!!!

We're almost the same height. He's at most 1/2" taller than I am. He's about 5'6", and I'm about 5'5 1/2".

If I wear shoes with any type of heel (I live in Fit Flops in warm weather), I'm as tall as or taller than he is.

I can take him in my dress boots with 3 or 4 inch heels. I'm 5'4" and he's 5'6". He does not love the boots and high heels. I catered to his whims and wore flats for our wedding.

I agree but its frustrating when you're dating & you don't care if the guys a few inches shorter than you but he obviously does. I didn't date many guys before I met my husband but a few that I dated were shorter than me & I could tell it bothered them.

Well, I guess we are the winners so far. DH is 5'8" and I am 6'1". We get comments, not as many as we used to for some reason but we still do sometimes. Mostly strangers who make stupid "guess we know who wears the pants" comments but the one that takes the cake was back when we were first dating. We were at dinner and a guy came over and asked me if I'd like to join their "Tall Person's Club" and maybe I could meet a man who was worthy of my height. I declined, and said that the most wonderful man I knew was sitting across the table from me and it didn't matter how tall or short or thin or fat or anything he was because he was perfect. He still is. We have been together for 20 years and while I admit when we first started dating it bothered me a little, I was 15 and stupid and quickly realized it didn't matter and I am so glad I did cause he truly turend out to be the very best husband.

I have known three couples in which the wife is taller. My cousin is 5"9 and his wife is 5"11. A friend of mine is 5"8 and her husband is 5"4 and a former coworker who I keep in touch with 5"6 and her husband 5"2 but he suffers from spina bifida which stunted his growth and he uses a wheelchair most of time.

Lol that's funny about the heels - my husband loves when I wear them. Someone who never wears heels would be my sister - she is 5'10, her husband is 5'2. That is the biggest wife over husband height difference I have seen. It used to bother her, but she has pretty much gotten used to it.
