Hello Birdie...I'll give you the plesure of telling where Great River is. I work in a physicians office in your town. Or should I say the (next town west) the town where the kids go to school.

Thanks for the vote of confidence...I have been away from the boards and just read your quick gab Bonnie. Got a Mickey pail ready just in case. I really was looking forward to those Konk Koolers. DH has already banished me from taking the 4hr horseback riding through the ruins in Cozumel since I was on bed rest a weekend ago. I guess I will have no choice but to go shopping instead. What a bummer. The whole point in doing the excursion was so we wouldn't have a whole lot of time to shop. Now I have all day. :):)

Wow I can't believe how many long islanders that are on this ship what's up with that. I'm trying to get away from you guys;) ;) and tom we are big king kullen shoppers so we know you have connections bring us boatloads of coupons:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: see you on the ship we will be that couple that look like were from New York :Pinkbounc

Hey Tony and all fellow Long Islanders...keep shopping at your local King Kullen.....I like going on these vacations and spending time with fellow Islanders.....so keep the money rolling in please...speaking of the Islanders...they are beating Ottawa 2-0 in the first game of the playoffs.
Thanks all....Tom

Hey all...me again...just checked the web site for DCL and we had a cabin assignment. We booked a category 6 but took a GTY for at least a category 6...the room we received is a category 4....which is great....but on deck 8 and in the extreme rear of the ship.....if anyone knows anything about this cabin or deck I would appreciate your imput.....and looking forward to meeting you all!
Thanks.....Tom

Tom,

Congrats on the upgrade. You deserve it!

Don't know a lot about that room or deck 8, but we have been in the rear of the ship in May 2002 and again for this cruise (we are in a Navigator veranda 6440). The best news for those rooms is that the lifeboat drill is in Animator's Palette - you get to sit down in air conditioning!

Also there is a small back staircase that goes right into Topsiders - great to run up and bring breakfast back to the veranda!

Enjoy!

Tom we stayed on deck 8 last April room 8100 this was the second to last room it was great very quiet not much traffic and topsiders is just above. Also the coffee station is just above if you get up early to watch the sunrise

Tom,
Congrats on the upgrade. Minnie and I are also on Deck 8. Since, as Mary points out, you'll be the closest to Topsiders, perhaps you can pick us up something each morning while you're there. No sense in all of us going. . . . Just kidding! :D

Hey, Minnie, will you be giving tours of your category 3 stateroom? I'm curious to see what they are like inside.

Sure, come on by, we'll have a party!

I'm curious to see what it looks like too! Really hope it's nice. The girls are mad, they really like the bunk beds! Oh Well.

I think I saw someone else say they had a cat.3 stateroom too, not sure who it was.

The one month countdown has begun!!:bounce:

(and I STILL haven't gotten up the nerve to try on a bathing suit.. )

We're under a month now, everyone! Cannot stand the wait! But I know that the anticipation is a lot of the fun of a great vacation.

Hope snow and sleet is disappearing in the northeast-

Oh!!~~~ the Anticipation!
No more snow here after 3 days of rain it's all washed away. I hope this time it's for good!

Hello all....funny thing is we changed our reservation in January for the May cruise...seemed like so long to wait...and 4 weeks from tonight we will be all packed and ready to leave in the am for the airport....we are flying in the day of the cruise....figure we will not have to worry about snow....anyway....I will be taking orders for breakfast on Sunday since I will be closest to the buffet...as a matter of fact you can all join us on the verandah in our room for breakfast......talk to you all soon...
Tom:D :bounce: :D :Pinkbounc :D :bounce:

easy tom there are alot of people here we might tip the ship over if were all on your verandah :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Breakfast on the verandah.....called DCL to get a bigger room....wanted a category 3 if available.....they had 1 available...and it would cost me only $1600. more for the upgrade....so we have to stay in the category 4....so get those breakfast orders ready.....
