Who else has a cupboard full of Disney mugs?

Don't care about the refillable once much, but oh the ceramic ones I LOVE. Currently my two favorites are a huge animal kingdom mug with Micky heads on it and a red tower of terror mug I got at the store leaving the ride! Can't wait to buy new ones next month!

We have a cupboard full of DVC, DCL, SW, US, and IoA.
One of the IoA's cups, the last time I used it at IoA, I was offer $25.00 for it. It is the original (first year) ones with the T-Rex head.
I have two of the original DVC (OKW) mugs that have the two mountains DVC logo on them.

I have 5 Mugs one for each visit to WDW I have had. I also have 1 from Hilton Head when I vacationed there.

Don't know how to post pictures sorry, tried once failed badly, not a techie to old.

lol...I was just talking to my spouse, last night, about all the things our kids don't know anything about- the list is very long for such a short period of time in history! We like to point out references in Disney movies/songs where the kids don't know what the obsolete thing is!

I have a whole cupboardful of the plastic ones. Old refillable ones with the resort (Dixielandings included) and then seasonal ones dating back to "Summer 1997" Dh wants me to get rid of them but I won't!

I have ceramic mugs from Old Key West and Disney Cruise Line. I have portable coffee cups from DCL and DVC. I hide them so DH does not take them to work with him and leave them there-I know I am not nice but I love my mugs. I just remembered I have the coffee mugs that have all the characters on them-one says MOM and the other says MOTHER. One is from WDW and the other from DL. I will not part with these ever!

We are a family of six and we get mugs every trip so our cabinets are full of Disney mugs.

Yes we do! As much as I want to clear out the cabinet full of mugs I just can't bring myself to do it.

Family of 5 - they do add up fast. Finally had to get rid of most of them - as much as I hated too.

We've still got some of the refillable mugs they had in the parks in the 90's. No idea what I'll do wit them but they have mickey on them so i can't possibly throw them away!:lmao:

I buy 1 or 2 mugs every trip. I dislike the small mugs at the DVC resorts. I need to get rid of my non Disney mugs

I was told to get rid of all of ours the other day. I hid them, instead. :rotfl2:

We've stashed a few in our Owners locker so we have extra for coffee in the room.

We have lots from several trips with free DDP and four people in the family.

I actually find it quite disgraceful that every trip requires a new mug rather than using an old one and with the new system I really wish I could just "reactivate" them rather than thousands of mugs heading for landfill. Recycling is a big deal in the UK so it makes me very uneasy when I see how many of these mugs are wasted.

We use the mugs in the garden and when camping but don't tend to use them in the house as I prefer china for hot drinks.

We've been members since 1991 so have tons. Never counted but I would say well over 100. We have a ton of the 3 mountains DVC mugs, a ton of the resort specific ones (we stay at a lot of different resorts), Grand California Resort, etc. We have a entire cabinet filled. I just can't seem to bring myself to throw or give any away. They all have memories. And Oh, least I forget I get myself a new Christmas one every year filled with hot cocoa at HS when we are watching the Orbourne lights. Now that I think of it we must have about 200!! WOW!!! I don't think I would ever say that to anyone else but fellow Disney nuts!!! LOL!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

This is my thought exactly. When you go to the Animal Kingdom, you hear about how environmentally conscious Disney is, so why not let me bring back my mug and reactivate the chip for a reduced rate. I know that you can reactivate them for the full price, but why should I pay full price for a mug that isn't new? I have limited cabinet space and I have stopped buying the mugs all together because I don't want to see them ending up in a landfill. I would much rather "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Totally agree. This should be easy to do.
