Who else does NOT do autograph books?

DS is almost 4 and we have no intention of doing the autographs. If he asks to do it, we will. Otherwise, I'm not giving him the idea!

We don't do autographs. We don't even stand in line to see the characters. We see them as we pass. We stop and look, the keep going. Neither of my DSs have any interest in standing in line to see a character up close. We do however, see Mickey in his Judge's Tent.

My boys aren't really into characters and I'm kind of glad. They'll see them and get pictures at character meals, but they don't care to stand in line and get autographs. As a result, we can look at Mickey when he's out but we walk right by the line. We're doing 3 character meals on our upcoming trip and that should be enough interaction for all of us. My 8 year old does, however, want to meet Timon. We'll stand in line for a picture when we see him, but he's the exception.

We did when our daughter was 7; now, it's just pictures with the characters.

I won't be doing it this time. My 15y old is a little old for autographs. My 2y old will appreciate them more when she's older. I will, however, be collecting lots of pressed coins

I actually find not doing autographs we get less "time" with the character, but that's not a complaint, my DS6 loves meeting them. We have never done autographs at the parks. We did autographs on the Disney Cruise line for the first time in August, the lines were great (apart from Jack Sparrow!) and you never felt like you were holding up the next people.

Unfortunatly my son had such a great time, he really wants to do autographs this coming trip. He loved finding as many characters on the ship as he could, before he just wanted to see his favorites. I have always thought the autographs slowed the character lines way down. I do an inner argghh! when a family of one in front of me in line suddenly turns into a family of ten all with autograph books and individual cameras!! However the fun these people are having is the important thing. Not my impatience!!
