Who else cries when they leave??

::yes:: I cry on my way out of the MK for the last time of the trip. I cry on my way out of the resort. I cry when I ride under the Disney sign on the way to the airport. Then I just get sad. :(

Thats why I immediately plan my next trip... To take the edge off.... For both me and my DD.. We both get sad when we have to leave.. :(

Count me in! I try to keep it together, because my 9 year old son cries every time. He has Autism, and he loves WDW more than anything. It kills me to have to leave. Our last trip he promised he wouldn't cry on our last day, but as we headed towards the gate leaving MK he tried so hard, his lower lip started to quiver, and I lost it. I hugged him and we both cried a bit, and I promised to bring him back. That was in 2010 and we are headed back this November. I can't wait, but I know it's gonna be hard to go. My other two kids don't seem to have as hard a time, but it's never fun leaving that place.

I always get choked up at least three times during my trips:

1. When we drive under the Welcome to Disney World sign.

2. The first time I walk out from under the train tunnel onto Main Street.

3. And on the way out of the Magic Kingdom on my last night. It usually hits me at the same time each year. We walk out towards the exits and I turn around and look at the train station and see the lights from Main Street behind it and lose it.

So yeah, I cry when I leave Magic Kingdom for the last time during a trip. But for some reason I am okay when we leave the resort the next morning and head to the airport. Not sure why. I'm probably too busy stressing out about the trip home and returning to reality to really feel anything else.

Where is the "raises-hand" smilie? Omigosh, I cry EVERY time I leave Walt Disney World. When I left after working there, I swear I cried the whole entire car ride back to Chicago. I also find myself crying a lot while I'm still there, just because I'm so dang happy. :goodvibes

Everytime. It freaked DH out the first time we went together and I started crying as we were leaving. Now he's used to it! :goodvibes

I don't cry, but, Wishes gives me the chills every time I hear the song, and I've been to MK many, many, many times.

I get choked up every time during The Electric Light Parade and Wishes. We leave for our Disney Vacation in 9 days. I know this trip will be especially emotional because I have no idea when we will get back...oldest DD is in grad school, DD#2 is graduating college and DS is graduating HS this year. I am very lucky that we are still doing family vacations this long! I almost feel like a phase of my life is ending, lol... My DH and I went to Disney World on our honeymoon and took our DD #1 at 18mo. Ever since then we have been a "Disney Family" Yep, this trip its gonna be especially hard to say goodbye.

Hopefully my grandchildren will be Disney lovers as well!:)

I cry on the bus when they show all the characters and say that they hope you come back real soon. Waaaaaaaaa!!!

I'm also a crier. I cried when I was down there the first time when I was 8, and my dad still has the recording of it. I'm sure I'll be sobbing if we go in 2013 because it might be my last trip for a while (will be graduating HS the next year and may have to get a job to offset community college costs).

Please, just let me be like Peter Pan and not grow up. :(

I'm crying just thinking about leaving, and I don't even know when our next trip will be! (hopefully this Nov, but DH is convinced buying a house is more important )
I cry during almost every Disney movie, walking down Main St. the first time, Wishes, Illuminations (mostly bc we saw it the night of our wedding), and of course, walking under the train station the last time. Thankfully, DH is now used to it.
Nov. 2013 can't come soon enough.

I get very sad driving away from the resort. Once I pass the "See you real soon sign" with the gang looking at you I tear up. Then once I get home I go into Post-WDW depression. I start planning for my next return then!

Add me to the list! We always feel so bad when we're checking in and see those leaving wheeling their luggage to the ME. Then on our last day we sniffle and say it's our turn. :(

My hubby says, "You have to leave to come back!"

I definitely get a little teary when we leave. Knowing that I can come back makes it a bit better, but I still hate the feeling of leaving.

Add me to this group...I don't bawl...but I do get choked up and teary eyed....last year as we were leaving the MK, I turned around and looked down Main Street and said "thanks for the memories....see you next time"....that helped a little.

My poor DH...he has a car load of cry babies as we pullout!!:( My DD, DS and myself are all blubbering we when we turn out of the resort. The kids usually stop once the TV starts in the car...me...it takes not seeing any more billboards advertising Disney!:rotfl:
