I seriously cry when we check out and have to come home. I actually make my husband deal with any person we contact between leaving the hotel and getting on the plane bc I'm afraid I will sob like a baby if they talk to me about going home!! :rotfl: I mean, I know this sounds ridiculous but I LOVE being in Disneyworld and just hate when its over!!
I think what gets me the most is seeing all the people getting off the ME bus and going to check in or god forbid, I hear someone talking about what park they are going to the next day all while I'm waiting to leave for the airport!
So, make me feel better....who else cries when they leave??? anyone??? anyone??? LOL

I cant say that I do. We are commando, so by the time the ME comes, I just want to take a nap! ;) But after a good nights sleep in my own bed, I am ready to go back! (and I do tend to start the plans for the next trip! :rotfl:)

I cry at the end of the DME video... but my favorite crying at Walt Disney World was on the DME TO Walt Disney World on my honeymoon. I said to my husband before we even got to our resort: "OUR VACATION IS ALMOST OVER!" while sobbing. :rotfl2:

much to my husband and son's embarrassment I cry:(...OK I weep:sad2:...actually, to tell the truth, I go into a depression starting the day before when I have to start packing to go home:sad:. No worries, you're not alone!!

Don't feel bad for missing and loving Disney as much as you do. There is no shame in that at all.::yes:: I don't neccessarily cry when I leave but I do go into a Disney Depression and trust me when I tell you it goes unnoticed. Disney is seriously a world of its own and it is a place to forget our everyday stresses of life. :goodvibes

I also get a little jealous of those just arriving to check in or those who are lining up to go to a park. Start planning for your next trip so it gives you something to look forward to. Its never ever too early to start planning.:)

Me! I most definitely get teary eyed when its time to go, but then again I cry when I get there and see the castle too, and cry when Mufasa dies in The Lion King and Simba is trying to wake him up ( no matter how many times I see the movie) :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I love that you are all sharing your experiences with me and it makes me feel sooooo much better that I'm not alone. My husband thinks I'm crazy actually but I swear I get to DW and allllll my worries disappear!

Darkwingeeyore: that is GREAT!!! hahahaha

Thanks for sharing your stories!! ::yes::

I do. Every time. :( But you know what they say: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened!"

Yep - been there and done that. I tell myself every time that it is silly because I know I will be back, but I still get sad when I am packing to go home. There really is no place like it. I am not a "sit still and do nothing" vacationer.

Count me in the crying game! The last trip was the worst I have ever been. On departure day, we went to MK for a bit. The tears kind of snuck up on me walking up Main Street on our way put. I kind of just kept pushing the stroller to get back to the monorail so we could catch DME. My 9year old son has his hat pulled down low and I put my arm around him. This then commenced the bawling. My husband didn't outright cry but his voice cracked a little saying "we will be back" trying to comfort us.

I don't cry, but I do get goosebumps when I walk into MK for the first time and see the castle. I just love it!

We're taking our twins for the first time and this trip is a multi-celebration trip after a very tough few years. I'll be crying with joy the entire time!

Oh boy did I cry, My first trip to WDW was last year for my honeymoon, on the day I arrived back in the UK I was inconsolable. I cried like a baby and cried myself to sleep that night! But my Hubby made me very happy by saying we could go back!! Although I know next time (2014) will be even harder as we will not be able to go back for 5/10years

I am the person at Orlando International airport crying uncontrollably. I don't understand why I can't move my family to Florida so I can work at WDW!! (Career, etc).

I always cry when I leave the park. Also, when I first walk into the Magic Kingdom I always cry from happiness.

You are not alone.

I am with you..I hate knowing I have to leave the next day..and it kills me to see all the people just checking in when I am on the way out the door..I am picturing it now and already feel teary eyed and I havent even gotten there this time yet...the only thing I can do to make myself cheer up is start planning my next trip asap...

Oh my gosh. I'm not gonna lie...I choked up when I read this!

I only have a month to go until WDW and everyday for the past few weeks, every time something "Disney" comes on, I start to choke up. Yesterday, my DD10 was watching the "surprise Disney trip" videos on youtube and I was sobbing like a baby. I've had such a stressful few months at work and I'm really looking forward to the relief of WDW with my amazing family. And I know for certain that I will be one of the, as Ursula sings "poor unfortunate souls" in MCO crying on my way back home. :(

:grouphug: for everyone!

I can usually hold it together until we get on DME. That's when you know it's over. And whose idea was it to play the "MIC..see ya real soon..." on the video????!!!! That's just mean. I'm already teary, and then they play that?? (our friends actually played that at the end of our wedding reception, so it's an emotional song regardless!)

I swear that's a big reason why we ended up buying into DVC. (gee I hope they're not reading this!). At least I know I'm coming back.

18 more days till Animal Kingdom Villas!!! :)
