Who else cannot get better?

This is my 3rd cold in 6 weeks, and last week, I got the "tummy flu."

The first 2 colds were caught out (I believe), and I think I caught the one have now from WDW (I always bring home something from there) or my mother, as she is sick.. Another possibility is that I never even got better from the first one, but that seems farfetched? I've been under a lot of stress, so I think I've just shot my immune system, honestly.

Anyway, can anyone else just not get over the sickies??

That's how I feel right now. I have had this cold for 2 1/2 weeks and it's just dragging on. I am better but still don't have any energy and still have a lot of congestion. I went out for a while yesterday and am paying for it today. The coughing has started up again. I need to be doing so many things toward Christmas and I just don't feel up to it. We only got our decorations up today. Usually, I have them up much earlier. I guess they are going to have to stay up til Valentine's Day so we can have enough time to enjoy them.

I unfortunately get sick often, I pick up every germ possible. I was sick a few weeks ago after my son came down with broncitis. He had gotten sick from my nephew and my dh got it to. We gave it to my other nephew who in turned just gave it back to me again! This time I got it bad, last time not so bad. I am just 100% thankful it's just a cold, I normally can't have JUST a cold... I get broncitis or strep or an ear infection on top of it. I feel much better today so will be well by Christmas, whoo hoo.

I've been sick off & on all season. I've had 2 tummy bugs, a nasty cold, and strep. I've never been this sick in my life.

I guess we'll all be happy to see spring someday!

Right now my fingers are just crossed that we get thru Christmas w/o catching something else!

Living in FL, I am not a fan of Spring or Summer but I find I am just wishing for Winter to be over. I can't stay sick like this anymore.

It's terrible this year.

I'm doing ok so far this year; I've been able to get over anything I've caught. *Knock on wood*. However most years once I get sick I'm sick for a long time. 3 years ago I was litterally sick from November 14 (I only remember because I got sick 2 days before my 16th birthday), through the end of the school year (end of June). I would get better, but then get sick again 2 days later. That year I spent Christmas morning in the recliner that had been pulled up to the Christmas tree. My mom just piled gifts into my lap, because I was too weak to be in the middle of things the way I normally am. The whole year was like that. 2 years ago, I stayed healthy until February. From then on, I was sick the rest of the school year, because I couldn't take the time to let myself get better.

So I can totally relate, and am scared to see what the new year will bring. Aside from 8 months of allergy overload, I've been pretty healthy since June 2004. I'm well overdue for the "gift that keeps on giving"

3 weeks and counting with a bout of bronchitis. I'm vulnerable to every little bug out there right now and just lucky it's "only" bronchitis and not pneumonia. I just lay awake at night and listen to my chest bubble. This sucks.
