Who else already has airfare bought for Aug/Sep and what did you pay?

Sept. 16-23
N/S on America West
$247.10/person
$1976 total for 8

I checked everyday and they were $400 RT and then one day it changed to $247 and I jumped on it! I couldn't wait for SW....I didn't want to chance it.

R/T Newark to Orlando

Leaving Friday August 11
Returning Sunday August 27

Booked in January on Continental

Total price = $220

Southwest
PVD--->MCO
August 30 - September 3
$261.60 per person RT

I booked the day SW released and I am not thrilled with the prices considering all the waiting around I did, but the rise in fuel prices has got me worried.

I am hoping for a summer sale or a Ding!, then DH can use the credit for business travel. At least that way, we can get our money back in a round about way.

We booked on Apr. 12 for Aug 1-8. American Airlines non-stop LAX to MCO $262.00 pp RT (x4). Same tickets are $404 today. I'm glad I booked when I did...and besides, it's done now.

booked march 2 chgo/ohare to mco 9/26 first flight out in the morning
return 10/9 columbus day, last direct non stop flight in the evening.

paid $203.10 united/ted
the day before the same flight was $183.10
i was stupid for not booking that day.......

I was so excited to see the free dining plan so I booked a trip and decided that if I could get a decent rate on air then we would go. Looked for about a week for air fare and then read on here about the airtran special at Disney so I called Cr and :cool1: :cool1: couldn't beat the deal.

Round Trip from Pittsburgh to MCO Aug 19- Aug 20 $129.00 per person round trip. With taxes total for the 3 of us $502. Staying at CSR with free dining and park hopper for 6 days under $2100.00 including air. I'm in!!!!!

Not sure if anyone saw the report on NBC yesterday morning, but the reporter did say " If you are waiting for lower airfares, book your travel now the rates are only going to go increase " Never sure how accurate those reports are, but I am happy I bought my airfare already for Sept.

I paid $706 for three tickets, so $235 each round trip, from LaGuardia to MCO on JetBlue. We travel 8/20-8/30.

When we first started shopping before Christmas it was $180 round trip on JetBlue, then it went as high as $270 round trip. For some reason in late February it went back down a bit to the price I paid-so we went with it. I don't want to look now-in case it went down again (doubt it though).

Anyone shopping around for Christmas time? They are up to $450 round trip right now...nuts

whenever i book air, i constantly go back and check the rates even up to my trip time.

if the fares drop, most airlines will credit you a voucher for the difference on a future flight.

Aug 10th to Aug 18th
JetBlue
LGA (7:30 AM) to MCO (6:05 PM) Non-Stop
197.10 each including taxes
Booked in early April

We booked mid feb for 8/20-9/1. We were worried since we are flying in on Friday of Labor Day.
4tickets laguardia to orlando on delta was a total of $702.40. I am so happy that be booked when we did, not the price is $500 higher.
To all who did not book- When you see a price that you are comfortable with, book. The prices are probably only going to go higher because of the gas prices rising. Gas from NY-Orlando is going to cost more than $400 and all of those miles on your car, stopping, etc.

I payed $286.00 for round trip non-stop from Tulsa to Mco on 4/18/06 for flights in September. Now the same flight is $476.00. Delta's prices seem to go up and down regularly. I wanted to try to hold out for better prices but I was just too afraid to wait, besides I really wanted a non stop flight since I'm traveling with my DD who is 2 years old. Besides I am kinda OCD about being organized.

Sacramento California to MCO Sept 15 (friday) to 23rd
United, 1 stop $293.00 each.

Could be worse, Southwest is still higher and I was having panic attaches :badpc:

We've got to to Georgia for a wedding in October and plan on making a trip to WDW before then. Fares from here tend to run a slightly different pattern. Right now HNL to MCO / MCO to ATL / ATL to HNL is running in the $800 area depending on the flight times desired. This is less than the roundtrip fare HNL to ATL currently available by $32 to $50 depending on flight times once again.

I have purchased fares from here to there in the low $300's to $700 in the past. Usually I've purched 60 to 90 days or so prior to date of departure.
