Who does ACS RELAY FOR LIFE? What was the name of your team and how much did your team raise for ACS ?

We were the PINK POTTY PATROL this year, our team raised $4700.00!

The Delta Gammas of DePauw University do!!!!!

We are incredibly involved in Relay for Life which is held on our campus every early May.

I did it for the first time this year. My team had a Red Sox theme and we raised about $3500. The entire event, though, raised almost $100K.

Our team is the Classy Characters. We started walking together for our Disney Store VoluntEar project about 10 years ago and we still do it even though most of us no longer work for the store. The past two years our team has raised over $10,000.00. Our team captain and her husband are heavily involved in the relay.

My sister participated on a team with her husband's two first cousins and their husbands. They raised money all year long, raised more than $11,000. one of the cousins is a 5 year survivor, I am a one year survivor.

Sorry but I am not sure what the name of the team is. I know they raised more than any other team in the area.

I have for several years but the local relay was on a weekend I just couldn't do it. Will be doing it again next year.

DD did it this year. It's quite a big deal in her school district.

The company I work for is very involved. Last year our themewas knock out cancer. We decorated our relay tent as a boxing ring. Next year we plan on using a hunting theme maybe hunting for a cure for cancer!

I have not been on a team yet, but this year I volunteered on the executive committee that put our Relay on. It was honestly one of the most amazing things I have ever been involved in. The survivors, all the people who raise money and stay up all night walking, the other volunteers. It was awesome.

Great to hear so many participate! I am President of the Auxiliary for our Fire Dept and we are very active in the planning and participation of Relay For Life in our area! Its great to here about what others have done for themes!

I did it for the past 4 years, but I've decided not to participate in it anymore. The highest amount our team had raised was $6,000.

I went to two of the meetings! I really want to do it someday, I'm just afraid I won't reach the fund raising goal! aw:

Oops, I just got this mixed up with the Lymphoma/ Leukemia society. I do the Relay for life, with a group from the Red Cross, in May. It's a lot of fun!
