Who does Britney think she is kidding?

I hope this is a joke!

I'm not sure where you copied that from, but it seems to be a joke. She told Matt on the interview last night that she wasn't sure of the sex of the baby and wanted to be surprised, so the "daughter" part is what tips you off it's fake.

Isn't that were the Jolie-Pitt baby was born....too coincidental so probably a joke IMHO as well.

Having seen the condemnation of the fact that the pregnant Brittany was sitting with ehr son in the son for 2 housr, I think the only way the press in the US or the UK will let her be is if she commits suicide, because its now really looking like they are trying to push her into that act.

And this part is pretty tongue-in-cheek:

"Kevin has always been a fan of African-American culture," she replied. "I'm sure he'll feel at home there, rapping with all the natives. Besides, there's lots of quiet unpaved roads where Sean Preston and I can go driving."

She should just fire her PR staff - that interview did nothing to improve her reputation.
I don't think she has any PR staff or management. She fired them all when she married Kevin. I think....

I felt sorry for her. She was a mess and came across as very uneducated. I still can't figure out why she didn't just say...I made mistakes. :sad2:

I thought her hair, makeup, clothes, and lighting were all terrible. come on...I could dress myself up better than that. does she really think her big prego b**bs were sexy ???

Didn't any catch that she is now a Clothes Designer for Children. She is designing Rock & Roll Clothes that are really cute. That is when Matt Lauer asked her if she likes business and then she replied she loves money.

Oh yes! Can't wait to see her line of hoochy mama baby clothes. ;) :rotfl2:

I never understood the fact that people would pay money to see her in concert. She lip syncs. Its a proven fact. Its like paying to see her put on a dance recital. :confused3

My Mom was right...

Smart is sexier than stupid anyday... :lmao: Brit just proved it...Even my DH said she looked cheap and old.

Paula, ITA, and not just the press either. I am seeing it here. I have never seen such a lack of compassion for anyone as I have seen for Britney. Its sad really.

And can't she ever have an assistant go to Starbucks? Or order takeout? Is it really necessary to make a big show every time you get a frappucino -- blame the paparazzi all you want but it's not like she doesn't KNOW they are going to be following her. Yes they go overboard but it's like she keeps baiting them!

That's what I don't get!

About the Namibia thing, while I think the pasted article on this thread is a joke, the Namibia thing apparantly isn't. Check this out:

Don't know if this has been addressed yet but did anyone else catch when the topic of Kevin leaving his pregnant girlfriend came up?!?!? She said she didn't know  and that Julia Roberts did the same thing :sad2: :sad2: . Oh, ok...

I really feel for her... she seems to be spiraling out of control with no one to catch her. I truly hope she gets the help she so desparetely needs.

The whole time she was being interviewed all I could think of was that she looked like Courtney Love was her new stylist.

Julia Roberts current husband was married when they got together they did not have any children though.

Personally, what any of these so-called celebs do, is no care to me.

But, who is Matt Lauer? Isn't he just a morning show interviewer? Where is his credibility? I understand tact, grace and manners, but do you think that Britney cares what Matt thinks of her? Does anyone?

Oh please. Who held a gun to her head and forced her to go on Dateline? People who really want privacy...don't ask to be interviewed on national TV.

As far as having compassion, perhaps if she showed a little compassion for her baby I might have some for her. She shrugged it off like it was nothing instead of taking a little responsibility for her actions.

I've said it before but if anyone here posted the crap that she does and says they would have been tarred and feathered long ago. Just because she is a celebrity doesn't give her carte blanche to act the fool.

The paparazzi love a good train wreck and that is what she is right now. She needs to clean up her act and they will lose interest. I'm sure they will still be around and snap pictures but not with the ferocity they do now.

I have never been a fan of BS, her music or the image that she has projected over the years. I watched part of the interview and I honestly felt sorry for her. For years, we've seen the "Britney" that her promoters wanted us to see. Evidently, that image is not who she really is. I think that she is struggling to figure out where she fits in now. I think the paparazzi are definitely hounding her. Yes, she has made stupid mistakes, she looked trashy in the interview and she is definitely in a downward spiral. I still felt sorry for her, she has taken on a lot of responsibilities that, apparently, wasn't equipped to handle. I hope that she gets it together for her children. :confused3
I agree with you RitaZ! :thumbsup2 She needs to "drop out of the limelight" for about 5-10 years, and re-vamp her whole career and Personality! ;)

If anyone wants to watch the trainwreck/interview, it will be replayed tonight (Friday) at 8; not sure if that will be on MSNBC or NBC

I read part of the interview on line and I'm glad I make it a point to miss train wrecks like the one Britney did on Dateline NBC. It reminds me of the terrible interview Whitney Houstan did with Primetime Live a few years back. Talk about a train wreck and maybe Whitney and Britney can get together and talk about how marrying the wrong man can ruin you. Maybe they can tour together when they are both flat broke and in the gutter. They can have the set made to look like an old trailer park and all of the back up dancers will wear wife beater Tshirts and need shaves and baths. It could work. :teeth:

When dealing the public or speaking to the press the old saying "Sometimes Less is more" really would have helped Britney. As my dad would say, All the curveballs that have been thrown her way lately is because she's the one calling the pitch.

I said it before on another thread, she is her own worst enemy and 98% of this media frenzy is her own doing. She reminds me of what Rosanne Barr used to do in the late 80's and early 90's. Do stupid stuff on a regular basis in front of the press or the public, then cry about how they tabloids are out to get you. When's the last time you heard from Rosanne? She learned her lesson and is out of the public eye. Britney needs to do the same, but I'll bet her money situation won't allow her to do that.

It's on NBC right now. I'm not sure why they felt the need to air it two nights in a row on the same channel! Sheesh!!
