For pete's sake!!! She is suppose to be helping her image with this interview with Matt Lauer. GET RID OF THE GUM!!! Popping gum during an interview is just so tacky!!! I wish that someone would tell her that she is almost popping out of that top too. :sad2:

When he asks a question, she can't even look him in the eye....I don't believe 1/2 of what she is saying.....

I agree with the gum thing, plus she looks like a floozy and a heck of a lot older than 24 yrs old

And don't get me started on her makeup!!! :guilty:

She looks like a drag queen. An ugly drag queen, that is. ;)

I'm not one to pick on Britney usually, but I think she needs a larger shirt and she needs to fix her bra, it's hanging out. She just looks really trashy tonight with that hair, makeup and gum. Did you notice that Matt said her hubby didn't want to be interviewed. I wonder why

I didn't see that part but now I have to ask....is she wearing anything below the waist? It sure doesn't look like it!

I'm sitting here watching the interview thinking, "BRITNEY, PUT THOSE THINGS AWAY!!" LOL She looks extremely trashy and she seems totally fake. Oh and have you noticed that the shirt she's wearing is see through on the bottom, you can see her belly through the shirt.

LOL! She wants to keep her baby out of the spotlight?!?!? :lmao:

Here comes her Tammy Faye imitation!!! :happytv:

She thinks that she is a "sweet young girl" ?!?!?!?!? :happytv: PLEEZE!!!!! She needs to stop blaming the media. How many other mothers have dealt with a crying baby in a car seat? Why should she not be held under the same scrutiny as other parents with injured kids? OY!

I agree...I have kept out of all of the Britney bashing thus far - but puh-lease - if you are going on national television for the SOLE purpose of defending yourself wouldn't you get a good makeup person, a good hair person, a good stylist for your clothing and a good manicurist....with that much money, wouldn't you go to EVERY length possible to look at least normal - not simply white trash. My DH walked in and saw her and said, "Geez, she looks totally strung out on drugs". I concur!

So sad...I think she has a really messed up life and is "stuck" right now... :sad2:

I'm almost ashamed to say that we used to be SOOO proud of her - she's from Kentwood, LA!! Like I said, we were proud - :sad2:

I hope she doesn't think this is actually going to help her image - poor girl - you're looking even worse.

And she's not apologizing for any of the baby incidents. I don't care if you're country - you still don't drive with a baby in the front seat.

She's a train wreck - it's too bad.

Jenny :happytv:

She just said, she don't listen to anybody and she don't take anyone's B.S.

She has on a jean skirt.

Remember after Madonna had Lourdes, she came on a Grammy show and she had a top on like that. Poor Matt, I'm surprised he didn't burst out laughing when she started crying.

I can't believe she has gum in her mouth-I guess not one can tell her what to do.

This is totally painful to watch!

Watching her cry is really pitiful. She seems so unhappy.

Plenty of celebrities manange to stay out of the spotlight. If that's what she really wanted she wouldn't be hanging out at Starbucks constantly. I think the paparazzi have figured out you like Starbucks, Britney. Maybe if you were really trying to avoid them YOU should avoid Starbucks.

After seeing the entire interview, intelligence in it's highest form mind you, all I can say is WOW.....you sure didn't help the cause little girl if you were trying to improve your image with the public and get people to just "leave us alone"........stop acting like a floozy and live a "quiet life" and the papparazzi will get tired of you and leave you be. The little blurb from Access Hollywood with her husband..........well he appears to be a winner too

If she had said "you know" one more time.....or popped that gum :crazy2: Loved it when Matt said "you just love business don't you?" and she replied, "yes, oh I love the money"........so telling

I was one of the biggest defenders of Britney in her baby incidents, but I really think her life has become such a mess and there is NO ONE helping this poor girl out. I think she enrolled in the Tom Cruise school of public relations and has no clue how all this is really harmful and not helping.

She needs to take a good long look in the mirror and see herslef for what she is: confused, miserable and to use her own words "an emotional wreck". Maybe she better start listening to someone before it is too late for her and she destroys what little bit of a career she has left after all this. I'm really thinking she is dressing and acting like this so it gets her sympathy, "like "poor me, I am such a mess I don't know what to do" but it is backfiring big time.

I can't believe that I care enough about Britney Spears to post about her!

It really bothered me that she was so unapologetic about the car seat issues. She refused to take any responsibility or say "I made a mistake." Call me crazy, but kid riding in a carseat is not optional to me. I didn't understand immediately after it happened why she couldn't turnaround and fasten the kid in or make the bodyguard sitting next to her hop out and have Britney pass the kid back to him. The entire "well my daddy did it with me" excuse was the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.

As for the kid riding face forward, I think that people would be a lot more sympathetic if she just admitted she didn't know any better. It's like she thinks that laws/guidelines etc. are for everyone but her.

I am much more sympathtic about the highchair and tripping incidents. Those seem to truly be accidents that could, unfortunately, happen to anyone. The carseat situations were just plain stupidity!

I have been critical of Britney Spears before, and nothing in this interview made me feel the least bit sorry for her.

She refuses to take any responsibility for her behavior - everything is the paparazzi's fault, America is so mean, etc. etc.

And I never believe celebrities who go on national TV to beg for their privacy. :sad2:

She wasn't so concerned about privacy when she turned her home movies into a reality show (moveis in which she talked about how much she loved having sex with her then-boyfriend Kevin).

I caught it at the end, did she say Kevin and her are still in love or are they having problems??????

I have never been a fan of BS, her music or the image that she has projected over the years. I watched part of the interview and I honestly felt sorry for her. For years, we've seen the "Britney" that her promoters wanted us to see. Evidently, that image is not who she really is. I think that she is struggling to figure out where she fits in now. I think the paparazzi are definitely hounding her. Yes, she has made stupid mistakes, she looked trashy in the interview and she is definitely in a downward spiral. I still felt sorry for her, she has taken on a lot of responsibilities that, apparently, wasn't equipped to handle. I hope that she gets it together for her children. :confused3
