Hi all:

We are trying to decide the best bang for buck to order groceries from. We are staying at SSR first so we'll do our purchase for there and move the groceries as we need to. I don't foresee buying a lot of stuff just things for breakfast (eggs, cereal, milk, etc) and some snacks for the evenings since we are going to be on the Qs plan. There are 7 of us all together

Anyways best bang for buck and recommendations please:

Garden Grocer
Disney Grocery Service at SSR
Other... Please specify

Oh and if you ask we will not have a car!

THANKS :)

We usually go to Publix on 535. They have a fantastic bakery! They have decent produce also.

We have used Garden Grocer several times and have never had a problem. Twice they have delivered before we arrived, and left a message on my cell phone stating we could get our groceries from bell services. When I order fresh produce, it is always delicious, and I have never had any errors with my order. Hope that helps.

Welcome aboard Shawn hehhe :)

This whole vacation planning for 7 people is far more complicated then when it's just hubby and I! lol I am so grateful my bro and sis in law are so easy going that there's no pushing and pulling from them and they trust me LOL

I just placed an order with the Garden Grocer for May 14th. We will see how it goes!:thumbsup2

I use Deb's Sienna for groceries from Publix. This is the location I use:

Regency Village Shopping Center (Store #00812)
8145 Vineland Ave
Orlando, FL 32821-6847

Main: (407) 238-9924
Fax: (407) 238-4650

And with my birthday in June and me being there, that means I get a Decadent Dessert - Chocolate Ganache Supreme.

Here is what it looks like: http://www.publix.com/food/catalog/ProductDetail.do?id=10057

We've used WeGoShop.com a number of times and would highly recommend them. Marge is the owner and she has always been great to work with. She even delayed our delivery once when our flight was delayed.

I've used WeGoShop.com several times.

You can pick the grocery store. (We like Publix.) You can even check the ad online.

You submit a free-form list to Marge by e-mail ahead of time. You can be specific, specifying the exact brand, description, and size (such as "Yoplait Original Yogurt, Mixed Berry, 6 oz."). Or you can be general (such as "small berry yogurt"). Or you can mix the two.

You pay actual grocery store prices, plus a reasonable service charge (and a tip if you're happy with the service).

If you plan on buying alcohol garden grocer will leave with bell services but WeGoShop requires that you go meet them so they can see an ID. That was a deal breaker for us because I want my stuff waiting for me when I check in plus I don't know what I'm doing from the next hour much less days in advance!

Used Garden Grocer 3 x's no issues and they are great if you need add on items that I forget. I find I'm always sending them an e-mail or 10 to say "hey I forgot about x and y can you add it".

I have heard some nice things about wegoshop although I have not used either them nor Garden Grocer. I know it doesn't help your situation but the cost of either of those is still too much for us. We are a family of seven all on our own so we always have used the Walmart. Now that there is on Vineland this has become even more convenient as we used to have to travel to the on on US 192. There is also a Super Target real close by.

We have used Goodings before at Crossroads but the cost is high. When you are feeding 5 little ones and purchasing park tickets, treats, etc. The cost of food is very significant for us and we justify and add in the time it takes to save the money on Walmart shopping for our food.

Without a car you two best options will be Wegoshop or Garden Grocer. That is based on other Disers reviews rather than my own.

Good point, so far we have not had our own vehicle. If we every drive down we will stop at a grocery store ourselves. I have even thought about getting a rental for a day and going but once I'm on property I don't evey want to leave!

Marge at wegoshop.com, awesome service, family owned and operated!!

If I'm short on time on arrival day, I'll use Garden Grocer. Often, I'll prefer to grab things myself.

..... and we have been very happy. Just placed another order with them last night... We arrive on Friday . Five days and counting!:cool1:

We used Garden Grocer and they were wonderful. We got everything as ordered, bell services held until we were in our room and then they delivered it right to our room for us. We will use them again on our next trip and recommend them to everyone.
