I would like to go with Dave Barry, Donny Osmond, George Hessleberg (SP? a local columnist), Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep and Carol Burnet, and Bette Midler. Spellings may not all be correct.

I'm assuming it could be someone either living or dead.....and since we just visited Graceland I'd have to say Elvis.

Madonna...not only because I'm a huge fan but because I think she'd be a very interesting person to talk to.

I didn't originally think about it being someone dead, but it certainly could be! That would open a lot of possibilities.

Ben Affleck~ Eminem~although I would probably be too nervous to eat, not living I pick my daddy who has been gone for over 10 years now, so he could let me in on the after life.;)

George W. Bush & his lovely Wife! I would love to have dinner with them!!

Mishetta....they were a close second to Elvis.:teeth:

It would be a great honor to visit with them.

Shakespeare & Vincent VanGogh, because they fascinate me. Ewan McGregor and Orlando Bloom, because I'm female and single :teeth:

I'll second the lunch with Orlando Bloom.......though I'm NOT single.....(DH rolls his eyes, shakes his head, and continues to work on his laptop...........)

I would love to have eaten dinner with Cary Grant or Jane Austen.

Jimmy Carter, Martin Luther King, Thomas Jefferson, Henry VIII, Eleanor of Aquitane, Dave Barry, Jimmy Buffett, Carl Hiassen, Christopher Moore & Jerry Garcia.....
I'll second that thought on Oprah, I think she'd be very interesting...

Tom Brokaw is my first choice. He is just so knowledgable about history and current events. I'd love to have a couple of hours to talk to him.

My second pick would be Tim Russert. Also, intelligent and interesting.

I think both would be fascinating conversationalists.

Myabe Sharon Osbourne, she seems like a hoot!!

Jimmy Buffett would be cool, too.

We actually did have dinner one evening with Story Musgrave about seven years ago. He was one of the space shuttle astronauts. After talking with him it was apparent why many astronauts are not like the rest of us. He was clearly a super achiever; test pilot, flight surgeon, MD, Ph'd. a couple of masters degrees, physically fit and slept no more than 5 hours per day. Anything more was "a waste of time".

Walt Disney of course. I would love for him to tell me all his thoughts on what WDW has become:D

Also, Matt Lauer (when he had is old hair LOL) or Katie Couric, they seem like they would be able to educate me on whats going on in the world without making me feel stupid LOL:p

Robert Wagner, cause I think he is do darn handsome:)

Probably Oprah. She could get me thinking!

My parents had a friend who once had lunch with Ed Sullivan in NYC years ago. He saw him sit at a table, waved his hand and said hello, and was then invited to join him! :) I guess it helps to be a priest with the collar on. ;)

And my sister was once on an elevator with John Davidson. She hoped the elevator would get stuck. LOL!
