Hi reading some of the threads it seems a lot of people book and fly via Virgin, personally I have found them overpriced and not best value for money, I tend not to book packages as it is generally cheaper to arrange flights accommodation car hire and tickets cheaper that way. My airline of choice is American Airlines. They fly to Orlando but are cheaper to Miami if you dont mind the drive or overnight stay. The legroom in economy is one of the best at 34" with decent luggage allowances and carry on the only downside for some is paying for alchoholic drinks, and the added bonus as soon as you are in the plane you feel is if you are in the States, still that is my opinion, how do others feel?

normally we go travel city direct have done 4 times now

decided to re try virgin this year, mistake as it seems now they dropped the weight

i may rectify this later

We like to fly with Virgin, but we have also flown with MyTravel a few times, usually it depends on the cost, so we'll fly with whoever is the cheapest :)

I don't have any one favourite - I go for the best combination of airport / price / dates each time we fly :)

So far we've used Thomson, Virgin and BA for Florida flights.

Virgin every time. The only costing I do is to get the best VA price. I have never looked at the competitors.

hi
yes, we usually fly with the cheapest company available when we want to travel. i have to say when we flew with b.a. in jan it was preferable to virgin .have travelled with most of the charter cimpanies and they are much the same.

I couldn't answer as I'll go with whoever offers the best deal at the time, one year I booked with Thomson as their package price cost an amazing £10 difference than the Virgin flight only cost! I'd sooner spend the money over there!
I've flown long haul with almost everyone on the list and have had no real complaints with any of them, the only real problem I had was last november with Virgin.

As we fly from Manchester we always flew with Virgin, but last year we tried Travel City direct for the Sunshine First upgrade. We found it was superb and in October we're going with TCD again and in Sunshine First - 50 inch leg room for less than Virgins PE upgrade.

Noticed that first choice wasn't on the list, are they that bad!? We are flying with them in October half term as we are getting married in Disney. This is the first time we are flying with them long haul. When we booked it I thought we were getting a good deal - £11,000 for 6 adults and 5 children (8, 8, 7, 2, 2) staying in Port Orleans from Gatwick including 14 day tickets and cars - only problem I found is I would prefer to fly into Orlando not Sanford but this is our ninth time and we are becoming familiar with the roads now. We paid extra for the upgraded seats, usual extras 36" seat pitch, pampering packs, 9" TVs, choice of food, drink, 30kg baggage which I think is worth the money alone. Has anyone else flown with first choice long haul?

we are now going tcd next year so I voted for tcd, we are going sunshine first too

we are going tcd this year too

cant wait

don't worry, in my opinion first choice will be overtaking Virgin any time soon, their newly refitted planes are getting rave reviews, their service has come on leaps and bounds and with virgins new fuel increase, reduced luggage allowance etc, they are a very hot contender.
If they'd sort out online check in and a downtown disney style check in the other end they'd be quids in!

We've only made the trip twice, once with Airtours and the other with Virgin and there is no competition even though I don't believe Virgin is worth the money or worth much of the hype and reputation that it seems to get. I can't speak with any authority on any of the other carriers so I voted for Virgin

I voted Travel city purely for the amount of money i can save.

loved the time we went with Continal but have traveled more with My Travel as it is a direct flight and much cheaper
Missing the direct flight Aer Lingus had last year from Dublin

We fly Virgin every time. We have a Virgin credit card which we use for absolutely everything. The accumulated miles tend to add up to "free" flights every year. This year we are flying PE there and UC back, all paid for with miles only. :goodvibes

OOPS!! My error for any one else if the airline of your choice is not listed just post your choice I will corrolate them manually into the final result

I've only ever gone with Virgin cos I'm a non driving virgin  Do any of the other companies do free transfers to WDW and back? I know TCD don't cos after you all raved about them I looked on their website.

most charter packages, ie thomson, first choice etc do free transfers too

If the price was reasonable when we booked i would have gone US Airways
