Are there any recomendations other than Dreams unlimited , I am looking for a travel agent to go through for our next cruise..we just got back from a 3 night and now we must have at least 7:D .Thanks so much for your help.

For My cruise I booked through travelocity with Dan, the number to reach him is 1-866-210-2676 ex7345. He was really great about giving us tips and information. I highly recommend using travelocity because the prices are great and they are all very friendly there. Hope I helped :)

snowwhitemom,
I was on your cruise (Jan 2) and I am glad you had a great time even though our weather wasn't the best! I have booked several times with Cruise.com who has always beaten everyone else's prices. I just tell them what the lowest quote is so far and they beat it!

Let us not forget the people who run this board, who are the Disney experts...DREAMS UNLIMITED!!! of course. They are the best!!! I would at least get a quote from them. I have booked my cruise from them and I am NOT disapointed. They always respond to email and do ANYTHING they can to help. I have put them through a lot ( I am a planner-aholic) and they have always answered my questions (no matter how silly they seem to be). All the agents seem to know and love Disney as much as I do and they are always willing to help. I can not say enough great things about them!!!

We used a local TA who only does cruises. She beat all the prices I was quoted through online TAs and I never even told her what the prices were that I was quoted.

So maybe looking on switchboard or in your phone book for a TA who specializes in cruises and get a quote from them too!

Good Luck,

Let's also not forget you can book directly through DCL. I used them on our 2nd cruise. They were very helpful. Answered any questions. Another good thing is if you book directly with DCL, you can make payments on your cruise through the website. You can track your balance etc....

I even found out I received a cabin upgrade when I went and checked on my reservation.

I've also used Travelocity. They were very good as well. Even sent a gift basket to our room.

Wow Thanks so much for all the great advice...This will aid in my planning also. Tinkhappy...i am so glad that you have had wonderful experiences with DU but unfortunately I have not had the same.......Like Thumper's ole saying of if you can't say any thing nice then don't say anything at all. Thanks a gain...i plan to look in to all of it.:D

We're having a very good experience with All Seasons Travel (www.allseastravel.com). I was a little leery, since I hadn't really heard of them, but their prices are great--we saved several hundred dollars over both DCL and DU. I've since read many complimentary posts, so I've stopped worrying.

We also just booked thru All Seaons Travel - they seem great and were a couple of hundred dollars less than DCL and that's including the Fla resident special in March. We booked the prior 2 cruises directly thru DCL and everything was great but saved $ this time using All Seasons.

We have booked through DCL on line for our last two cruises. They have been wonderful and we got an upgrade last trip. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I went to www.cruisesaversinc.com and then contacted them by phone to make my reservations for my last cruise (1/9/03). Joyce was very helpful and they offered the best price I could find for Florida residents. Also, we received an upgrade from an oceanview room to a verandah room at absolutely no cost!

I booked thru DCL direct the first time and then used DU for my 2003 cruise and they have been wonderful and patient with all of my questions and I have cruised DCL before. I am also using DU for a non DCL cruise and they have been invaluable with advice and prices.

I say Thumbs Up to DU for great service, attitude and prices!

Thanks so much for the good advice...it will help so much. I am also very happy to share a bit of good news IMPO, For all you DU fans as well...I filled out the standard questioner that I suppose everyone receives after a cruise....I was not really expecting much of a responce when on Sunday morning Cathy from DU e-mailed the most wonderful letter. She offered no excuses for the problems but did provide me with the reasons as a courtesy, along with accecting responsiblity for it. Every Co. will have challanges but its how they are dealt with that makes the difference. I too will look into DU again but I still searching other sites. The NY's cruise on 12/27 in a cat.6 seems to me to be high so every extra bit in this case will help us. DCL is the only quote I have so far. Thanks again.

Is it true that you can only make payments and keep track of your balance only if you book through DCL directly? We have already booked with TA, but it would be nice to keep track of balance on line.
