Who did you book through/upgrade question

Since I started "Have you ever received a "pixie dust" upgrade poll. I will start another poll since it seems this is another question that gets asked often.

If you received a FREE "pixie dust" upgrade, who was it that you booked through?

Edited to add...You can select more than one choice, so you can tell who you booked through and when you paid.

Joanna: I'm a little confused. I voted on who I booked with, but could I have picked two? One for who I booked with and one for how I paid? And since our cruise we were upgraded was booked less than 60 days out, I paid in full at booking, but it wasn't early so I don't know how I would have picked one or the other.

I understand what you're trying to do, just wanted you to know I might be messing up your results!

We booked direct through DCL. My BIL is in the military and they are offering some great things for them right now so we already had a great deal with our Cat 10. But low and behold when docs showed up, we were bumped up to a Cat 6, YEAH!!

This will be our first cruise 11/8/03 and we can not wait!!

We booked directly through DCL. We did upgrade ourselves from a cat 12 to a cat 7. DH thought it would be a nice surprise. DCL then upgraded us to a cat 4. WOW cat 12 to a cat 4 in 10 months. Not bad.

I don't know if it was because we were repeat cruisers or if somehow they knew our 1st DCL cruise was not all that great. We sailed the day after 9/11. Missed Castaway Cay due to a tropical storm. The last day of the cruise was brutal due to waves.

Yes you could choose more than one. Lisa don't worry about messing up the results, That's why there is always a 4% margin error on polls. LOL

Just wanted to post the poll as alot of people ask this question often. And to think I can't even vote as I have never been upgraded myself. LOL So I have to click results to see how the poll is going.

Could you also add when (the monthof sailing) you were upgraded? I want to see if there is a better season (or particular month) that gets the upgrades more than others. Thanks.

Joanna you are too cute, I am watching this "scientific approach" to figuring out upgrades... and then that is how I am going to book my next cruise!

I can't vote myself since I have never been upgraded but was tempted to vote DVC to try to influence the outcome in my favor

We made our ressie through DVC in November '02 for our August '03 cruise. We received word of our "pixie dust" upgrade when we received our docs three weeks before our sail date.
