Leaving in two days! Just wondering if anyone decorates their room for the holiday? We will be at the WL and wondered what people did.
Thanks

We have been to the World for Christmas for the last 3 years and we always have lights on our windows. We even put them on a timer so they come on when we are in the parks!

This is our first time at xmas, and first time at WL. Plan on putting up a 2ft. tree, with a string of lights and some minature disney ornaments! Also, have Mickey window clings!! Can't wait almost to single digits!!!

We didn't think about it last year:(

Next time we go at Christmas, I will bring lights and the kids stockings:D

We are checking into the WL in 6 days and I am in charge of the decorations for our rooms.
I made two table top trees up with lights and minature disney ornaments, I made up four small stockings with a candy cane in each and a 5.00 disney dollar also. I found some doorknob bells for each room and I made up a christmas bag for each room...with a tiara for each princess, prince charming buttons so the men wouldn't feel left out, coloring books and crayons, Hawaiian leis to wear when we go to Kona Cafe for breakfast, Christmas Earings with Jingle bell earings for the ladies and some candies. Kind of like a stocking all stuffed for fun. We also got the family matching sweatshirts that say our names on them. We thought that would be fun.
So excited just can not wait to get there.

We're also first timers to WL and WDW at Christmastime. I decided to splurge and get one of the trees decorated by the Disney florist. I know it's quite an expense but it's a surprise for my DH, sister, and niece. Aside from that I wasn't really planning on any other decorations but some of these ideas have really got me thinking!! Maybe i'll need to take a trip to Target tonight and pick up some more goodies! :p

We're actually checking out on Christmas Eve, but I saw the pink Princess Christmas tree at the Disney store last weekend and just had to have it for my DD's room, so we're taking that with us. That's a great idea about the window clings too!

Me and my girls leave in 9 days, and my husband and son leaves in 10 days. We will be checking into the Poly on the 14th. I am shipping down my little tree. I picked up some red bows with white poka dots at Kmart. They look like Minnie. I'm also going to ship some christmas lights for the sliding door. I have the stockings packed. I would like to get something cheap to put on the door of our room. I never thought about a timer and window clings.. Now I have to go shopping.

We are first timers doing Christmas at WDW. I want to put a tree up in our room and I found a cute 3 foot prelit tree at Walmart for $15.77. Being prelit will save the hassle of taking extra lights along and it only cost $5 more than the 3 foot tree without lights.

We, too, are going for our 1st Christmas in the World! We are bringing (all surprises for DS's-even the trip!): 4 ft. pre-lit tree, disney ornaments, I orderd Disney stockings from the DS w/their names embroidered on them; Mickey head brass stocking holders, window clings for the sliding door (could only find Pooh & friends; still looking for Mickey!), 2 big bows for the door, the kind you put on pkgs, one green/one red, and I ordered shirts from the DCatalog that have a Mickey & gang holiday picture and say our 1st Christmas in the World! I will probably bring a timer so the tree will be lit when we come back to our rooms, and will probably bring some kind of lights for the glass sliding doors. Don't forget to bring extension cord! We hope everyone enjoys their holiday visits and don't forget your lime green ribbons!!!!!

We just got back! I ran over to Target the first day and picked up a table-top, pre-decorated xmas tree. It was a great surprise for my mom! She loved coming in at night to see the tree lit. It was a treat for both of us. :) Sometimes we'd forget to turn it on before we left but the evening housekeepers would plug it in for us when they came in for turndown service--nice touch. :)

I think bringing a smal prelit tree for the room is a great idea. We arrive right after Christmas or I would bring one!

Since I am dragging my 6 yo DD out of the house at 5 am Christmas Day, I figured I HAD to decorate our room... so I bought a small table top tree and a strand of lights...

I LOVE the idea of window clings!
