Who besides Southwest?

What other airlines offer as good a deal or close to that of Southwest Air for a new CC. Hoping to greatly reduce our airfare for next year.
The only thing I don't like about SW is that you can't choose seats.

I'm not sure credit-card wise, but have you checked out jetBlue, they tend to have really good prices (and you can choose your seats).

I have a delta skymiles AMEX, but the $95 annual fee, bag fees, and more expensive flights don't always make it worth it (although as a cardmember you do get 1 free checked bag). We fly Southwest almost exclusively, and my DH has the Southwest visa, so we try to use its perks whenever we can. IMO, not having assigned seats is a small price to pay for better schedules, flight prices, being able to check 2 bags, friendly crews, and that all being said, I've never had to sit away from my family (even though there's only 3 of us).

If you're concerned about not sitting together, spring for the early bird check-in for $10.

Do ypu know if I can do the $10 early bird check-in if I am using the "Free flights" points for signing up?
I know that Continental offers points for signing up which sounds like enough for 2 flights. I never seem to hear about this offer like I do SW.

You can do the Earlybird check in if you book with points, you just have to pay the $10 fee. You cannot use points to cover the fee.
