Whitewall Verandahs--How High?

How tall does a kid have to be to see over this (standing)? Bad idea for SHORT 10 and 7 year olds?

Which ship? The whitewalls on the classic ships are higher than on the Dream and Fantasy. On the Dream and Fantasy, I know they are about shin high. On the classics, I think they are about waist high but I haven't been in a stateroom with a whitewall veranda to say for sure.

Its going to depend on which ship. No issue on the Dream or Fantasy, but most likely it would be on the Magic or Wonder, where the whitewall is almost all the way up the railing.
